BUDGET for DIY Climb
Php 7,000
Note: The amount varies depending where come from. This was our budget prepared for the climb with excess for other expenses. Roughly you have to prepare that amount for DIY
Here's the breakdown:
Bacolod to Dumangas roro: 80.00 v-v 160.00
Terminal fee: 35 v-v 70.00
Dumangas to capiz roxas van ( 4500/trip) 9,000/ 10= 900/ head
Roro roxas to Romblon: 920.00 aircon v-v 1,840
Event Proper 3,500
Inclusion: 7 meals, homestay, guide/ porter, permit, certificate and transpo from port to house of kuya toto)
Medical cert : 100
TOTAL: 6,570
ADDITIONAL:
First day dinner 100.00/ head
We contributed an amount extra for our homestay ( kuya toto house) for using their kitchen ☺️, and extra for guide for the side trip (tour) in the beach and cantigas river
Cantigas river cottage : 100.00
We cooked our own food for the extra day of our stay in Romblon ( estimaterd 250-300 for 3 meals)

Just to avoid confusion to those who will be doing the tampayan-olango traverse and vice versa. I think it’s worth mentioning that the daypack will only be necessary when doing the backtrail route. More power to you sir💯
Thank you for sharing this sir! Traverse is a different situation. For our climb, we did backtrail all throughout. Summit assault as well, that’s why we brought daypack.

Hello! Thanks! yes it's open but you need to book ahead of your climb. Climbing Mt. Guiting-Guiting require guides. I suggest you find group events that have a scheduled there.
