Talk about double standards. The groom gets to wear a western outfit that is tuxedo but the bride has to wear a traditional red lehenga. And it is a reception not even a wedding. I am glad the bride stood up for herself and chose an outfit she wanted and she looked perfect.
The guys are hysterical. They are working so hard to keep mommy and grandmas from being upset. I hope the guys grow backbones and learn that their wife comes before their mom.
What 😮I mean FOR ME just here for her dress wife come first and mom second would be okkk actually that should be it becoz it's her wedding day but generally hope that's not what u meant in any other situation I mean giving the deserved respect and equal ears to both parties would be the best way to go 😊 I 'm sorry but I find wife comes before mom sounds harsh 😅even though I'm no mom neither a male to take side on what to say in here❤
The white outfit goes soo well with a tux. A traditional red lehenga with a tux would have looked so silly imo. If he wanted her to wear traditional red, he should have been in a sherwani himself!
That dress was so perfect!! I love seeing the photos at the end. Thank you to this couple and all the previous ones for providing them. I don't understand why he was so stuck on her being traditional when he was wearing a tux. Like a kid is gonna notice a different color dress but not an entirely different style of suit?
Chain breakers.....fantastic. Sandra is a strong woman with her own dreams. Her choice of outfit was perfect for her. She looks stunning. The combo of the bridal gown with the black tux is amazing.
Perfection! She looked so pretty! The two of them in their wedding photos... just beautiful. I'd love to know what the women in their families thought about the dress. The groom needs to learn to cater to his wife, not his momma!
I liked the black one much better. It looked better on her than the white one. As for the mothers and grandmothers, we are all entitled to our own opinions and have our wedding be all that the bride and groom imagined it to be. The others had their wedding. It is not right or fair to impose or insist that others make their wedding what someone else’s wants it to be. You can still exercise your wants and be respectful. Moms and grandparents trying to make the decisions of other adults is what is disrespectful.
These guys are so scared of their moms 😂 But the fact that Suraj was the one at the end who was basically like 'DUDE, did you see YOUR face, and did you see HER face, you GOTTA get this one' redeemed him totally. I thought he was going to be a problem but he totally switched up when he saw how happy his friends were ❤ Hopefully Tanzir's mum will forgive him in maybe like 20 to 30 years time and he'll be able to have some biryani again?
Red, red, red geez. You said your piece. This won’t be the last time the parents will disagree with the couple. Support your wife. Let the mommies know you respect them, but the couple will make their own decisions. If you’re afraid of your mommy, you’re not ready to get married.
The couple was stunning on their special day!! I love learning about the beautiful culture and watching the new generation bring their ideas while incorporating the old. The respect this culture has for their elders is wonderful. Our youth could learn so much from that!!
OMG she's stunning, they look so beautiful together. I bet every young woman and girl that saw her, went home with new dreams in their head. Blessings to you. Hope you didn't suffer too much grief.
Beautiful pictures of your wedding. I hope the parents and grandparents understood how stressful the ordering process was for the first red dress. What is most important is that you were married surrounded by your loved ones.
I'm not of Indian descent and don't have any background in the culture. I do know that many Asian and African cultures view white as a funeral color, just as Americans do black. I think that the problem was the backdrop of the reception. Only black or white would complement the solid black. Red would have looked garish and out of place. Another issue is that American-born and raised (1st generation) children always have pushed back on the traditions of their parents and grandparents. This couple's children may veer even farther away. Their reception certainly had a different look than any others I've seen on this channel. The photos were beautiful because of the sparkle and flow of the bride's dress. I wish you all happiness in your life together!
It's so funny to see families trying to talk the bride OUT of a white dress. Especially when Western families get so bent out of shape when the bride wants a different color. Cultural norms are wild!
This dress was a mix of traditional and modern with the langa and white wedding dresses combined. I applaud the couple for making their own way yet staying true to their upbringing by incorporating old with new.
The bride looked phenomenal! She was already beautiful but she was even more stunning all decked out. The groom was handsome and so obviously in love. They make a lovely couple. Great job Shia, another beautiful wedding made complete with your exquisite gown.
So... it's not even the wedding outfit, it's for the reception---HE gets to pick his tux but SHE has to stick to red because mummy said so?? HE can wear a red sherwani if they want to make their mummas/grandmummas happy. Grow a pair bruh!
Wow!!! this has to be the most absolutely stunning bride I have ever seen, her husband and her look like royalty. Everything looked fabulous with their outfits. Perfect choice for a perfect couple. Congratulations to you both, all the best in the future.
As best friend of the groom in real life y’all got me crying on a Sunday morning 😂😂 he’s not as bad as you think and FYI they moved an hour away from his mom/grandmom for his wife’s happiness so y’all gotta chill
@@Lufy422 I'm talking about langa voni which is just the same type of skirt and short top with a duppatta draped as a sari - known as langa voni but sometimes commonly called langa. And then there is the typical langa for kids with a longer blouse and skirt (no dupatta) . It is quite common for both to simply be referred to as langa
WOW!!! This bride is absolutely stunning in this dress. Beautiful pictures, backdrop, and décor, she defiantly made the right choice. The bride and groom looked exquisite in their wedding attire. Best wishes for your future together.
Indians in india are not as close minded as indians settled abroad when it comes to traditions. Here most brides choose different colours for their wedding.
I love watching over and over all the episode of Nazranaa Diaries, I’m excited with season 6. If I ever get married would be on one of Shia ‘s designs!
the white lehnga is not good for an Asian Bride. She can chose some pastel colors. like sea green or icy blue. With a high neck in the blouse, her jewellery wont show up.
I have no idea how I found myself on Nazranaa-Tube, but I'm thrilled that I am here! Now I just need to find enough reasons to buy a lehenga in every single color!!! Truly stunning 😍
I hope the groom grows from being mommy's boy into Sandra's grown up man husband before these 2 weeks are over.. Personally, I couldn't/wouldn't marry a man who was that afraid of his mommy.
Best bridal pick ever!! With the groom in black tux & night background, bride stole the show. Things always work out the way they are supposed to & this is living proof. The absent red one was meant to be. Congrats on a beautiful wedding.
For me the 2nd outfit so beautiful…. Soft pink and mint green if I’m not mistaken with silver embroidery so gorgeous!! Fairytale kind of vibe…. The white dress to white for my taste but the bride looks gorgeous in it….
The two guys are so afraid of displeasing their mommas and grandma's I wouldn't be surprised at all if he wants mom and grandma to come on the honeymoon and move in with them........run girl run!
Feels so weird about the red obsession. It seems they are Muslims plus this is a reception outfit which is more or less a non-religious ceremony. Also I hope the groom knows that most of his ancestors did not wear a tux to their receptions/weddings.
I can imagine your future daughter saying, 'mommy, thank you for letting me pick my own dress like you did.' I understand traditions, and how important they are. But are you not disrespecting them by wearing a tuxedo? And hello? Tradition and "when we talk in bed," also doesn't go together, lol. If you think it's acceptable for you to be in modern dress, then I would hope you would let everyone know, it's just as acceptable for your bride, to wear modern clothing too. Especially when she is paying homage to your other traditions. If they pull the old "I'm not going to the wedding," you say "I'm sorry you feel that way about my wife, we will miss your presence, and I will pray for you."
The brides female friend was very supportive. Also in desi culture wedding is between two families so the groom is not such a bad person he just wants both of their families to be happy as them in their special day ,so to avoid any discontent from elders hes trying to play safe with colours. But he eventually took her side so it's all good at the end. I liked the vyas couple a lot they seem kind .
please please change the groom 🤵 girl seriously how did you find such a master piece, a grandma and mamas boy, I mean even in India my mother and elder sister wore blue sarees in their receptions. bless you
Those guys are wimps worried about what mommy n grandma wants. That guy really should only be concerned about what his future wife wants. Sandra's opinion is really the only opinion that matters. Those guys should grow a backbone. I think the black lengha blouse style was better looking on Sandra than the white one. The white one had too high of a neck line and the white one made her look fat.
First time I saw an Indian bride with her hair down. She looked gorgeous but she should have said the dress was silver. I guess the red never showed up? 🤔 And what did the moms and grandmothers say?
This episode is disturbing with obsession of tradition of red ... especially for reception ahhhhh Its like fixing auspicious date to buy milk powder from our 7 / 11 nearby argh 😒 😅
The bride did end up looking beautiful in her wedding photos, however I found the sales associate to be too pushy and disregarding of the potential family drama. I am not one to suggest conceding to the family's 'demands', but she was very pushy.
It’s kind of weird that the friends and family have to state what they do for a living when they introduce themselves…This is the only wedding show that does that. It’s normal for the couple to state their professions, but why the other guests? So strange.
Because education and status are important to them. So nice of the friends to be so supportive of the bride. Good job everyone! The white is spectacular!
Funny thing is, it was HER wedding 😂 I think you'd look lovely if you kept your opinion for a bride on what to wear on *again.. HER wedding day to yourself 👻
She does lookbeautiful…. And it is her wedding so she should wear whatever gives her joy. Isn’t it funny? This Irish American was sitting here saying “No, no…. Oh, please…..color!! Go red!!!” And the beautiful Indian-American says ….”Er, no…”. To each their own, but she was beautiful!

hat's my thought, force him to wear a traditional outfit, or shut up.

"Mommy, why does your wedding dress look different than Grandma's?" is not a question a child raised in the US is going to ask
Is that a question any kid is going to ask there parents even if there raised in India.
I believe this is the first and last time it was said
The white outfit goes soo well with a tux. A traditional red lehenga with a tux would have looked so silly imo. If he wanted her to wear traditional red, he should have been in a sherwani himself!

Yeah that sort of threw me; why is it ok for him to wear the non-traditional (for their culture) tux but she has to stick to an old-school look?
Ya’ll are crazy. The bride looked amazing! Kudos to her for wanting to be her own person and steer away from the non traditional look.
Chain breakers.....fantastic. Sandra is a strong woman with her own dreams. Her choice of outfit was perfect for her. She looks stunning. The combo of the bridal gown with the black tux is amazing.

I think she should at least have tried a red one on. She doesn't have to buy it.
I love how it ended up being a blending of Asian and Western tradition, I think the started a new trend.
That white was absolutely stunning on her. What a beautiful bride.
He is wearing tuxedo and want her to wear red 😮💨 then where is your sherwani bro !

It seems to be true for any immigrant community. They get stuck in the norms that they left while the countries they leave behind move forward.
