Excellent video Peter. Older vehicles had a certain character and quirkyness. That's why they are preserved by enthusiasts. Will anyone bother to preserve a Wright Electroliner ?
@@BristolRE I mean things like "what's happening with this route", "when's that company getting sold", "when's that garage moving?" I'm aware that in those days long routes were splitting up to improve reliability. Then, they got rid of letter-suffix routes.
@@mohibj Moving routes doesn't make any sense. Still sitting in the same crap traffic usually on the same tight schedules and in a lot of cases the same drivers if they move across with the route. Zero benefits in this system in London
Great video -a proper bus with shape and sound

Ooh, that would have been fun. The 210 was one of my favourite routes in the days of Grey-Green.
It was a good day all round

@BristolRE Apart from my mates named it baby bus lol
@@TrainBoy-tf9gh Lol
Was there much politics around buses then, or did everyone just care about the physical bus?
Politics? No idea

@@BristolRE Yes I guess reverting back to public ownership will see the number of garages reduce with all the slack fitting finely into fewer ones.
Nice video Peter
Thanks
