  • Here, we are making a path through some nasty autumn olive with a roller-chopper being pulled by a John Deere 650 dozer at Bald Eagle State Park in Centre County, PA. The goal of the project is to restore early-successional habitat as part of a multi-agency "young forest initiative" that will benefit species such as American woodcock and Golden-winged warblers. This project was completed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Pennsylvania Partners for Fish and Wildlife program, PA DCNR, Habitat Forever, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Woodcock Limited, and the Ruffed Grouse Society with support from Wildife Management Institute. Video shot and edited by Aaron Brown.

I think this guy would do better if he went in reverse instead of trying to push huge brush piles with his blade.
