For a guy that 'claims' to be dumb, he has maintained a racing career, a marriage and a sponsorship for decades, all of which speak to he and Ann's 'smarts'! Love Kenny and Ann! Thanks for posting!
The greatest. I got to sit with Ann at the 1987 Daytona 500 and Firecracker 400. Schrader flipped over the finish line at the firecracker and that was 2 tense minutes. We all are still convinced B. Allison was a lap down Ann. Haha Lucky to have the Schrader’s as our favorite driver through all these years.
In 1988, when Kenny went to work for Harry Hyde driving the Folgers Chevrolet vacated by Tim Richmond, a friend of mine went to work for Harry. On a visit to Charlotte he invited me over to Kenny's garage for a few beers. Both Kenny and Ann were both there as well as Ernie Ervin. Kenny and Ann were two of the most down to earth folks you'd ever want to meet. No superstar attitudes going on with Kenny. here, and near as I can tell still isn't. The man can drive the wheels off an anything. Thanks for this interview.
Kenny you’ve always been and always will be one of my favorite people in motorsports. Always enjoy hearing about what you’re doing and glad you’re still racing.
Kenny, you are one of my favorite NASCAR drivers. I have several NASCAR diecast cars. Many are the M & M cars. I purchased all of them when they were looking for a new color to add to the candies. Thanks for sharing your racing stories. Keep Having Fun, stay safe % be well.
Kenny I'm glad you think today's NASCAR is a great show, but I enjoyed it way more in the days when you were racing with Dale, Rusty, Mark and the rest! Also meeting you and Ann is on my bucket list.
I was working in Oklahoma help build a big C store were 412 and 69 cross. Right after we opened the store a truck came in pulling a trailer that had Kenny's name it and I wasn't sure he had a car in it with it being a fifth wheel trailer and pickup. I talked to the man that was driving it and he said he had and car in it he was taking to show it and music show at Dry Gulch that weekend. He opened the side door on the trailer and let us go in and look at the car. He was a nice guy. Wish I could remember what car it was I know it was a cup car, but it has been over 20 years ago. May have been M&M I know the car was yellow. Love all the older Nascar drivers them men new how to drive a race car a not cry about it if something didn't go their way. God bless you'll. Dan 🇺🇸
Thank You. I really enjoyed it. Great job. If you don't love Ned Jarrett, Mark Martin, and Kenny Shrader, there's something wrong with you. Oh, and Junie Donlevy. Sorry about my spelling.
I would do anything to meet Ken Shrader. That man is wonderful. Still going at it at 68,he won a dirt race in Canada last summer. He's fun and all. If one day Ken Shrader starts a cult i'll be the first to join it
Kenny Schrader, that says it all.Next time ask him about his finger that he cut off,and that he has a collection of dirt from the racetracks he raced on
I remember when you came to an Allied Auti a racing pre racing dance with Ann. Several years you came to Bellclair speedway to drive Don Klein’s car while he was injured
If you ever get the chance spend a little time with these two. I had the good fortune to have raced with the ARCA series when Ken and Ann were around. They are an absolute hoot, especially at the banquet. I've now pretty much left the racing world and I will say that I will miss not seeing them.
In 1989 I saw Ann interviewed during the Daytona 500.. I was 18 at the time and thought she was smoking hot.. after seeing her in this interview after all these years I think she is still smoking hot.
Most kids today unless you are over 50 don't quite understand how fricking fast Schrader was in s sprint car as well as a cup car. The old sprint car drivers from the 80-'s 79-'s and 60's and before were dare devils flying around a half-mile track at over 100 mph. The greats like Foyt, Rutherford, Anderatti, Poncho Carter, King Kinsler Sammy Swindell, and Dave Blaney as well as Doug Wolfgang. They were all crazy fast including Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon.
I miss Schrader!!! I met him on at Eldora, and got his autograph, but I was drunk as hell and Kenny thought of was a idiot, but I still can remember it...
The Dream at Eldora was some of the greatest racing I've o ever watched and Graf I got to experience a rained shorten event, cause things just got small roots racing again with big name drivers
I’ve watched so many pod casts and interviews with both Kennys’ I feel like I know them not ever having met them personally. They have shared many racing and a few personal experiences, and myself having friends who race and enjoy ‘throwing a few back’ later, I can relate to both gentlemen! These two are some of the great racing personalities in their own right, fans should feel blessed for having them in a sport we can all relate to!!
I have always known being a racing fan that Ken Shrader was a national treasure. After this interview I gotta say his wife Ann is a national treasure also. Have met and talked to Kenny many times. There is nothing ever put on with him. I have had a cold one with many people. Some pretty big personalities but never has anyone meant as much as when I have with Kenny.
Kenny Schrader is a Gentleman and a tough dude. I saw him at an ARCA race at Salem speedway and he slowed down on the last lap and let a guy in contention for series points that he had rubbed with get the win. Just straight up class and great for the ARCA series.
I will stop whatever I'm doing if Mr. Schrader is speaking. I loved his views on Inside Winston Cup, back in the 90's. His humor is self deprecating and at times, brutally honest! What a legend!!!
That was great to watch. I got his autograph many moons ago. i'm 68 years old now, and it is still the most cherished moment of this life long racing fan.
I would like to ask Anne one question and one question only how long did it take and how big was the garbage can that you burned that green leisure suit in
For a guy that 'claims' to be dumb, he has maintained a racing career, a marriage and a sponsorship for decades, all of which speak to he and Ann's 'smarts'!
Love Kenny and Ann! Thanks for posting!
"Claims" you got that one right. Ken Shrader is one of the smartest guy out there. He's a pure genius. Happy go lucky kind of guy. He's a real legend.
The one thing I’ll never forget is that it was Ann Schrader that gave Dale Jr his first beer when he was 16 😂
The greatest. I got to sit with Ann at the 1987 Daytona 500 and Firecracker 400. Schrader flipped over the finish line at the firecracker and that was 2 tense minutes. We all are still convinced B. Allison was a lap down Ann. Haha

Kenny is such an AWESOME person!
Kenny's a clasa act. Followed him for 50 years!
Kenny you’ve always been and always will be one of my favorite people in motorsports. Always enjoy hearing about what you’re doing and glad you’re still racing.
What an amazing life. Spending your entire life doing what you love.
Love the Schraders. God bless them!

Great seeing Kenny's wife and great interview! This video should have millions of views by now! .. come on!

I talked to my son, and he said the car we saw had Schwan's on the hood..

Happy Anniversary Ann and Ken !!!!!!
Great interview! Nice to see Ann.

He also won a dirt race at Oshweken Speedway in Canada this Aug/24
Kenny Schrader, that says it all.Next time ask him about his finger that he cut off,and that he has a collection of dirt from the racetracks he raced on
He wasnt real happy with Paul Tracy in SRX. Kenny is a jewel.
Love Kenny. The racer's racer...
Kenny was Madd as hell at Paul Tracy this year at the srs race
Cool to see Ann wearing that Moler Raceway Park shirt. Its a little track in Southwest Ohio.
Always been a Kenny fan. Now that I've met Ann though your video, I'm a Bigger Fan...
Hello Ken....miss you my man. Followed you for many years....a respectable fan from your neighbor state...peace.
I remember when you came to an Allied Auti a racing pre racing dance with Ann. Several years you came to Bellclair speedway to drive Don Klein’s car while he was injured
This was just awsome
I honestly don’t know how a racing fan couldn’t like Schrader!

Ken has raced at Seekonk in Ma. a couple miles from RI on a few occasions
Classy family, I've met up all.
Great show !
nicest guy in racing.
I saw Schrader run his first race at Lake Hill speedway in Valley Park Missouri.
In 1989 I saw Ann interviewed during the Daytona 500.. I was 18 at the time and thought she was smoking hot.. after seeing her in this interview after all these years I think she is still smoking hot.
I have not been in the drag racing in over 30 years I'm sorry I do not know the man boy what have I missed
great job pj
Do you still have the Trickle Mustang with the rear sway bar? Saw a picture of it in NSSN years ago.
Down to earth Drinking down
You had already asked and wished them a happy anniversary when you asked again

⚡Homer & Shrader two classy dudes⚡ 💥Must be nice to have a wife that actually likes you💥
You have never had any real fun until you drink beer with Schrader and Kenny Wallace after a dirt race!
I’ve watched so many pod casts and interviews with both Kennys’ I feel like I know them not ever having met them personally. Don’t know if Schrader is aware of it, but I like how he’s always rolling his tongue over his lower lip. Think that defines Ken Schrader!
Kenny and Ann seem like good people. I could drink beer and listen to Kenney tell stories by a fire all night. Or a gentleman's club. lol
Kenny is a special driver and person. He is truly a champion.

These families are real "salt of the earth" types to be treasured!
39 years 😊 I can't get a women to stick around 39 minutes
I love Kenny's attitude on life, hes a little tipsy here 😂
My fav driver ever ...just a good dude
I would like to ask Anne one question and one question only how long did it take and how big was the garbage can that you burned that green leisure suit in
ONE WORD / MEET KENNY #2 ONCE AND YOU REMEMBER IT FOR LIFE
