I really like the color palette. And I like how it resembles what people wear when racing sporty motorcycles. As for Lois Lane, she looks freaking fantastic!!😃 FINALLY, a Lois Lane that looks like Lois Lane! Love her in the purple.

I like the suit, there are definitely elements I’m not a fan of like the lines and the collar but it’s fine. A perfect suit doesn’t make a great film, as we’ve seen in the past, so long as the film is good the suit can evolve and can be improved upon like they did in TASM 2. I feel like Superman is a hero where the campiness is needed, it will be divisive but I think in the long run will be better for the DCU overall

None of Snyder’s suits looked or felt like Superman in any way. Desaturated with an almost fish-like texture with clear fake muscles. This suit actually looks like a Superman suit from head to toe, and the lack of fake padded muscles allows us to fully see how big David truly got for the role. The whole suit looks right out of the comics and completely screams Superman in every way. Gunn understands comics and Superman better than all of the idiots who say he doesn’t.

I like the colors. I'm not really a big fan of the trunks and it is too baggy. Henry Cavill would've fit in this costume just fine, but he'd probably play the new MCU Wolverine.
Cavill would be an awful Wolverine lol, and that's not an attack on his acting or on him. Also, most suits are baggy behind the scenes for the purpose of mobility and actor comfort. Post-production fixes imperfections like that all the time, look at MCU suits behind the scenes.
We haven't had a good wholesome Superman movie in forever. A lot of the outrage is coming from people who don't want Superman, but instead Homelander with an S on his chest.
In this story, Superman's suit does have a sort of looseness or bagginess to it. I think it looks great. If Gunn is doing straight up All Star Superman, and he includes what happens in episode 6, A Funeral in Smallville, and stays true to what happens in the comic, he could literally win an award. It's such a tear-jerker, every time you read it. I'm hopeful DC might possibly get things right, this time.

I love the colors, I like the emblem itself and the emblem on the cape. I like that it has more of a design to it and it’s not just flax spandex but it looks baggy. Makes it more practical even if it does look a little different than what we expected. But overall it looks awesome.
There are pieces of the suit that work, but the front of the suit just has too much padding. It should’ve been a little more formfitting I like the cake and I do like him having a bit of a turtleneck, but all that extra padding is a bit much, maybe it’ll look better on screen, but in these shots, it doesn’t look so good to me.

2 things I really dont like about the new suit, the weird, not needed lines so many put on suits, games do it, tv shows do it, movies, just busy unnessary lines, 2 is the size of the symbol on the cape, just wish it was a little bigger, but still think it looks good either way....

The actual problem is that Superman's costume looks stupid, and has always looked stupid. Of all the live action Superman suits Cavill's looked the least stupid, but that's because it looked the least like Superman. Superman fans simultaneously want a costume that is both faithful to the comics and also doesn't look ridiculous, which is impossible.
That's ridiculous. There have been plenty of versons of the suit in modern times. The injustice suit was awesome. Also , Superman had muscle, he would look far more like Superman. Clark Kent was a big kid and big man by 18. 6 foot 5, 240 pounds, it would be great to have a superman that looked like superman. His whole look reminds me of a modern rendition of Jorge Jiménez's art. The texture is a bit odd, but I'm digging the overall look and air about him. Plus the Clark Kent look is spot on. I can already tell he's going to be clumsy, bumbling and oafish.

David is considerably larger than Henry. Henry was 6'1" and 203 lbs, David is 6'4" and over 220.

I guess we'll have to wait for more context on the origin of the suit and it's composition. If it's just Ma Kent sewing up a suit for Clark that's way different than a Kryptonian battle uniform.
2 things I really dont like about the new suit, the weird, not needed lines so many put on suits, games do it, tv shows do it, movies, just busy unnessary lines, 2 is the size of the symbol on the cape, just wish it was a little bigger, but still think it looks good either way....

The actual problem is that Superman's costume looks stupid, and has always looked stupid. Of all the live action Superman suits Cavill's looked the least stupid, but that's because it looked the least like Superman. Superman fans simultaneously want a costume that is both faithful to the comics and also doesn't look ridiculous, which is impossible.
That's ridiculous. There have been plenty of versons of the suit in modern times. The injustice suit was awesome. Also , Superman had muscle, he would look far more like Superman. Clark Kent was a big kid and big man by 18. 6 foot 5, 240 pounds, it would be great to have a superman that looked like superman. Cavill looked more like him, but where is the height and big boy farmer build.
Bro I’m sorry, but putting this suit in the same league as Jackman’s yellow is insane lol. I don’t hate this one, but that yellow suit is a perfect translation into live action. I think this is far from perfect, but it’ll be fine for now and probably change over the years

I think it's hilarious that the Gunn stans default response is oh you just don't know how much they do to superhero shoots in Post editing these days, go look at the BTS shots of Snyders superman aquaman and Batman, And tell me what they did imposed to make them look right because they looked right in the behind the scene shots
Those suits were also probably uncomfortable as shit and/or had poor mobility. Use your brain my guy, you're saying that post-production is impossible or needing it is a bad thing? That's preposterous.
I really like this suit EXCEPT for how it bunches up around the gut and isn't form fitting. If it would fit tighter it would be damn near perfect.
Colour is better, but it's still baggy. Hopefully it looks right in the movie 👍
To ease your mind a bit here a couple of super hero suits before CGI was applied to the suits to fix them

His whole look reminds me of a modern rendition of Jorge Jiménez's art. The texture is a bit odd, but I'm digging the overall look and air about him. Plus the Clark Kent look is spot on. I can already tell he's going to be clumsy, bumbling and oafish.

I definitely like the colour scheme but, I hate the suit. Stupid neck, baggy fit, weird cape attachment and an unpopular Superman symbol that looks like a no smoking sign. WHO is this supposed to appeal to?

Suit still looks like garbage. I like the colors being bright but the jumpsuit look is probably the worst suit ever used on screen. The symbol looks ridiculous, always thought it look dumb. Keep the classic chest piece.

Looks like a CW show....... Mr.Terrific looks too young, skinny, not buff or face similar to the character. This superman being so skrawny is wack af. This is soo lackluster and boring to me. Too baggy of a suit and the tactical lines in the blue doesn't flow right . Id rather have a bulky muscle ripped Superman.
