- This is the computer simulation video of the light and sound show on the ongoing San Juanico Bridge Aesthetic Lighting Project. New target for completion (weather and all other factors permitting) is by the 7th Super Typhoon Yolanda Memorial this November 8, 2019. Backup target completion in case of delays will be December 31, 2019 in time for the 2020 New Year countdown celebration. This PhP80-million project is funded by the Tourism Infrastructure Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) with the provincial government of Samar, led by Gov Sharee Ann Tan-delos Santos thru her Spark Samar program, as the project proponent. The iconic 2.1km San Juanico Bridge is the first bridge in the Philippines to feature a computer-controlled aesthetic light and sound show. The light and sound show will be initially scheduled during weekends (Fridays to Sundays) starting at 7PM onwards. The project includes static and dynamic lights to showcase the glamour of the bridge at night. The static lights will be used at an average of 10-12 hours per day while the dynamic lights will only be used during the light show for up to a maximum of 1 hour per day (10-15 minutes light show, 4 times a day).
