Hi. I find your videos very inspiring. I often start searching for new patterns and projects . I am still a beginner, but the projects that I have undertaken are often needle tatting based. I get a bit nervous about shuttle tatting. ☺ . But I feel that will change in the near future. Thank you so much for such an informative video.
+Sash Mufti Your so welcome. Come join us in the class so you can learn so much more from a very talented teacher and guest tatters that come to the classes to share their knowledge as well. The link to the classes is in the above description box. Happy Tatting
Hi. Thanks for the woderful tutorials. I need more information on when we should boost the shuttle, should it be at the end of the motif or is it preferable after each ring ?? Thanks
I am new to shuttle tatting and I want to join a ring to last picot Samar to what you’ve done, however I then Ned to ds four more doubles to close ring. I don’t know wher my threads should be , at back or front of work.
once you open the ring back up you will see that the picot did not twist. Your threads will be coming out the top of the picot. Just as the video will show. I hope that helps you. Happy Tatting
+Brie Bolta Hi Brie. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you as soon as I normally do. I have been in the process of moving and now things are beginning to get to a somewhat normal life. The lock join is a very hard join to take out. When using it be careful because it is as the name implies it locks everything before the join in place and will not come out without a big struggle. I hope this answers your question if not please be specific in what you need and I will reply alot sooner now. :). Happy Tattin
Oh thanks a lot for the reply. I have tried it now and I can see my rings look more perfect when posting the shuttle after closing each ring. Thanks again
Hi. Thank you so much for the invitation. I would love to join you, once my youngest son starts going to preschool. Mainly because I want be in class on a regular basis. ☺.
+Sash Mufti Well whenever your able to start is fine. The classes repeat every month starting at the first thursday of the month. You can come as often as you want and they are free. We meet twice every thursday for those working and have children so they can accomodate the class times to a time available to them. Hope to see you in there soon. Happy tatting

If you are talking about posting the shuttle. If so you would post the shuttle after you have completed each ring before you close the ring.
