Yo! this is dope. I love your work man, I only recently started photography and I am teaching myself cinematography. you are truly one of my inspirations!
Yes because you have to learn to make every shot count, you have to learn at a faster more money costing way, or if you gave yourself a small memory card you could only take X amount of pictures, we gain style by working in the dark room. Or in digital case photo shop, which takes longer and some processes digitally are destructive to the photo, ruining the quality. I shot with film awhile ago and for me it’s not cost effective even as a hobby it’s expensive, so I give myself small cards and only certain focal lengths
I listened to this about ten times before I watched it. Both experiences were phenomenal. It's great to see a black artist in the film space. Incredible work.
This was a throwback to my highschool photography days. Our teacher even made us cut our own film sometimes. Typically we only had to develop the film though. I can still smell the chemicals.
One of your best videos man. You inspired me to start shooting 35mm film. Definitely want to develop it on my own and even get a medium format camera soon. Up next is scanning and processing it by myself instead of having the lab do it. Baby steps. Keep up the great work.
This is how I have been doing it with 35 mm film since the seventies. I only just got into DSLR photography the past week or so and I don't even have my first DSLR camera yet. Still waiting on it from Amazon. So excited to get into a different genre of the photography world.
By far my FAVORITE Vuhlandes video to date! I don’t care for the ASMR but the cinematography combined tutorial was dope!! You didn’t need to do any explaining because it was shot masterfully! Like, this was beautiful dude! When the video finished I verbally said “Woooowwww!” Like out loud, not in my head! Once again this video was dope and it wasn’t because of the weird ASMR community. It was genuinely beautiful to see it all come together!
Film is great. Love the noises and feel of the camera plus the old vintage lenses have this look to them even on digital cameras. But I do like digital because it's easier and better for running around and shooting. But messing around with film cameras is super fun
im out here watching the entire thing and im hella intrigued without a single spoken word! I feel like this is more interesting to watch than a tutorial someone speaks over
Man you were scaring me with the blix lol. A tip to help it go back in faster is to lift up the funnel, because it wants to let out the air/gas that’s trapped, so lifting the funnel will allow those gases to go around it instead of through the funnel
Yo bro! I just came across your channel and I like your perspective on film and everything else. You have opened my eyes and I have just been following you for like a week. The video you did on your old photos made me revisit my old ones. I laughter at some of mine too. Keep doing your thing bro. Thanks for the videos.
This is amazing! I develop just black and white film at home, never developed in color because the process is a bit different and you need different things to make it happen, but I know the love is the exact same! One day I'll be able to develop my color film at home. It was thanks to this quarentine that I started to develop by myself and I have to admit that my anxiety is always present while I'm in the process! Just felt like sharing this 😅 Thank you so much for this video, your content is amazing and your photos are amazing as well 👌 Keep up the great work✨ Hugs from Portugal, still social distancing even though our economy is reopening already but your videos still save me from procrastinating 😚
Hey man, just a tip. You should leave the stabiliser on. Don’t wash it off. Just squeegee. It’s got wetting agent in it- helps with even drying and prevents dust sticking on it. Otherwise, loved the video, man!
yall ever realize how many noises go into taking photos? they're all SUPER satisfying too! WOW I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY
great listen 👂🏼
Yo! this is dope. I love your work man, I only recently started photography and I am teaching myself cinematography.
you are truly one of my inspirations!
Love these Vuhlogs!! Keep up the art :)
When the shutter was flapping, it's very satisfying sound for me.
That good old epson scanner satisfying sound.
digital photography asmr video will be like 30 seconds long lmao
Pretty much just a mirror flapping at burst rate.
lmfao just hold the button and then the stutter sound start, the end
That sony focus lock bleep ain't exactly asmr.. it's anxiety triggering
Even though it's a longer process, I feel like you gain a deeper understanding by shooting film.

understanding of what
Didn’t realize this much effort went into film development
4:43 .... that sound you don't want to hear at the airport.
Why?
@@jamssy3409 let’s just say it’s a sight that an unwanted visitor is knocking at your back door
I listened to this about ten times before I watched it. Both experiences were phenomenal. It's great to see a black artist in the film space. Incredible work.

Wait until this chump finds out there’s nothing therapeutic and meditative about film photography at all lol.
@@boejiden5933 Lol, this chump still finds it therapeutic and relaxing. Haven't stopped shooting and developing is actually really fun.
