Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U,and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth major installment and the third numbered title in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The game was released worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on October 30, 2012. A Wii U and Microsoft Windows version are released in November 2012. The main portion of Assassin's Creed III is set before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783 In addition to the historical period, the game also features the "present day" setting, where series protagonist Desmond Miles must adventure to prevent the 2012 apocalypse, as his story develops and reaches a conclusion. The game features a new engine, Anvil Next, built from the ground up, the engine is said to utilize full capability of current generation systems to deliver a "next-gen Assassin's Creed experience.
Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode features over 12 modes, one of which is Domination where players hold certain points on the map. You will be able to play as the British military and the mode is "run" by Abstergo, as with previous games. Game mechanics from the single player will be carried over to the multiplayer, therefore requiring players to utilise stealth and advance assassination techniques. Female assassins will also be included, as seen in Brotherhood and Revelations

Haytham was so damn cool, it's a shame he never got a solo game
His style is so minimalist, precise and technical he fights like Count Dooku I love it, I think the only assassin who comes close to him in terms of fencing skill is Arno but even he would be turned into mincemeat

Ac3 is the game which helped me to spend my lockdown without getting bored. I still remember 🤣🤣playing this game each n everyday just to kill the guards bcz i was bored XD.

@@Sean-idk that doesn't change the fact it has the best story, combat, recruiting system, hunting, modern day, notoriety system (with revelations), OST (with AC2), parkour (with Rogue), tree climbing, mountain climbing, animations, underground, best advantage taken of the setting (with Rogue and Black Flag), map exploring (helps you mark every place where you were for it reveals on the map), lock on/off system (being able to aim literally any ranged tool except for heavy weapons using the tool button), Haytham Kenway is hands down the best character in the franchise

@@Engille967 Ac3 did almost everything good. The only thing in the game that is mediocre is the stealth but the stealth can be fun if you know how to avoid the bugs.

Alternative combat system:
Counters or counter kills have to be unlocked by completing certain moves or combining moves together.
When these happen in the fight will be randomised,
A counter icon will come up OR
You have to read the body language of the enemy and different enemies will have different body language instead of an icon
There can be levels to this from single counters to 3 counter cutscenes, but towards the end of the animation you have a short time to continue killstreak
Also enemies can try and cut across the counter cutscenes so you have to keep an eye, including forming firing at you.
You can also use a button to control where in the fight radius you stand, this could be used to make enemies shoot each other by accident

I literally have a save in prologue just to load up n spend an hr killing redcoats with haytham whenever I wanna see his unique swordplay. We need a young Haytham spin-off.

I'm playing the remastered is it normal the game being to white? I don't remember playing this game back in 2012 and the intro on the boat seeing everything too foggy and bright.

Tbh, AC rogue should’ve been a solo Haytham game, set in the same time frame with a different story, especially elaborating on what exactly occurred before Haytham left the Assassins, how Haytham came to be a Templar, and a lot more that isn’t shown in the game.
