    Some amazing shots there. I`m born and bred here, grew up in Caryl Gardens in the south end, opposite The Southern Hospital. Times were hard but boy did we have some happy times and our neighbors were fantastic people. How times change.

    When they bring out a time machine, I'm getting out in 1960 walking around Liverpool and knocking on a few doors....

    My Nans house @30 seconds , Skirving st, end of Scottie, just see the garage (which became Williams BMW). Still remember the Coke machine in there , the original shape bottles and the cap opener hanging from the side

    "Part of the union". "Keep the red flag flying here" is this supposed to represent the scousers as militants?

    I'm afraid Liverpool like the rest of the UK is finished,our glorious politicians have seen to this by importing diverse culturally enriched guests.

    Your first photo of the five guys in suits is Strand, London. Apart from the London bus and the sign saying Burleigh Street, the church in the background is St Mary le Strand. Is that why you put the question mark in the title?

    • @robertdraper5782
      @robertdraper5782 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe those five blokes in the suits are a Merseybeat group called the Undertakers.

      @@robertdraper5782 Yes it is The Undertakers. A very talented Merseyside group of the 1960s who did not quite have the success that others did. I saw them a few times at The Cavern and their live performance was excellent. There is a CD compilation of their recordings called Unearthed which should still be available on Amazon
