@@kevincloud574 I think there is a lot on TH-cam that people are just typing prompts and getting tracks back then posting and it does show. I spend a lot of time with these tracks probably on average 4-5hrs each generating 100s of options then finally splitting mixing and mastering. For me I enjoy the process it’s always kind of a surprise with what comes out and what direction I go so yep a Human is very much still involved… at the moment 😂
Really please you like the track, seems to be one of the popular ones I have created. I agree that lead vocal is awesome, trouble is being Generative AI its pretty random by nature so getting a similar outcome is often not easy.

todays artists keep on pushing the limits on good and clean music! those of us who learned to love these kind of songs have seen them forgotten so i am glad that good music can again be produced even though todays artists cant do it. hurrah for ai in bringing back new doo woop!!
As a musician and singer in several UK doo wop groups I’m with you on this, total respect for the original artists and no fighting here 😃 But if you have an opportunity to get to listen to more Doo Wop from a specific era in time in a very niche genre then that can’t be a bad thing right? 1959-1963 is never coming back after all 😔

Artificial intelligence, I don't know, on the one hand... yes, these kind of songs sounds good, but (at least in my case) I listen to them 3 times and I'm already sick of them. However, I could have listened to Dion's "Runaround Sue" hundreds of times. Or Vito Picone, or The Mystics, or Jay & The Americans... even more recent Doo Wop groups like The Crystalairs... despite the many arrangements made in the studio, they are not perfect voices, they are human and that is why they have something that this lacks: personality. It's very good as an experiment, as an exercise, but having calculated years ago that there were more than 15,000 vocal groups only in the USA alone in the 50's (including the one hit wonders, of course)... I think there are better things to look for...
Having sung in many of the modern doo wop bands since the early 90s I can relate to this, Those classics are NEVER going to be replaced, but If we can generate something close with little effort then what's not to like... but that's just my opinion :-) Sadly we are never going to get any more classics from the true legends
