Identifying First US Beatles White Album and the "Seven Error Labels" Identification

- We check out some identifying marks of a first press US version Beatles White Album, including the legendary seven error label variation!
Hello there , I have a 1980s British pressing of the white album with the wrong tracks pressed onto side 4, it starts with strawberry fields, then penny lane and so on tracks that make up the 1967.....1970 blue album. Thats one hell of a manufacturers miss press, I still have it to this day mint condition played once only.
1968 white album A40409. Still have it. Won it while at high school. Had to write a different interpretation of one of the songs on the album . I chose Happiness is a warm gun and won.
i had 6/7 of the errors, only correct one was “why don’t we do it in the road” with a question mark, but thank you for showing me what was what
I kind of wish George didn't hear Capitol's mix, and then fixed it. Would be interesting to see what they would have done with it. Wonder if Dave Dexter would have put the reverb all over it.
My original 1968? album (stolen) was embrossed, newer issues have BEATLES printed in gray! It was freaking strange looking for the title...lettering on the edge ID'ed it before I discovered the raised lettering on the front!
I have the capital versions with colored vinyl and no barcodes
I have a white vinyl English pressing of the White Album with hyphenated Ob-La-Di & full Bungalow Bill title on side 1; side 2 has Rocky RaCCoon & Do It In The Road with no question mark; side 4 has the Revolutions as 1 & 9 with no # symbol. Also there is no individual writer credits for each song; those are listed as Northern Songs & Harrisongs with Lennon-McCartney & G. Harrison at the bottom.
BUT - even more interesting is my copy from 1968 numbered 0074650 in which side 1 has no print whatsoever but a blank green apple label - ever heard of that??
No I haven't... but if it is a UK pressing I'm not too familiar with those! Except for the more recent reissues, I'm more familiar with the USA pressings
@@collectingbeatles101 The blank apple label is a U.S pressing - my original purchase in 1968.
@@garypatton4668 oh... I misunderstood.. what are the matrix numbers in the runout groove? Interested to know the pressing! I never heard of that one!

I had a Capitol tape set in the late 1990s that had "Obladi Oblada" and "No. 1/9" (but the other errors were fixed).
I've heard that original pressings were issued with an incorrect mix before Georhe Harrison flew to the US to oversee and correct mistakes, but I'm not sure how to detect one in case I see an original Apple pressing in the shops. If you have one of these, can you point out the differences?
I have a set of the four Beatle pics and they are still attached to each other.

Good thing George was visiting Capitol while they were mixing the album. Who knows what it would have sounded like if he didn't stop them. Maybe Dave Dexter would have spoiled it.
You said J 46? Mine is J 40 and J 41!
I have two copies that are probably first presses. Dad bought 2. One is still sealed so I won't be checking the label on that one. Lol
What is ever true that the original White Album cover were covered white
due to bad public image Beatle pictures......? And, if you had an original
White A!bum, you could carefully remove the album cover to reveal the
Original cover.... As like the Butcher Cover album?????
