as a Milan fan, I hope so too... but to tell you the truth, our days of glory like this Final are far away, and I don't know when they will return... and it's sad, because we are the 7 times European Champions, with 1 final won 4 - 1 (the one against Cruijff's Ajax) and 2 others won with a resounding 4 - 0 (Milan Steaua and Milan Barcellona... in which Cruijff was the coach...😆👍) good times. .. in those years Milan faced Real Madrid and at San Siro sent them home with 5 goals to 0... Yep, Milan were jam packed with talent throughout the squad. They had been dominating Serie A for three seasons and Capello ran a squad rotation system that often meant world class players didn't get regular playing time. The flip side of that was you would be hard pressed to find a player in the entire squad not worthy of starting a European Cup final.
if this game was played with current refereeing, Barcelona would have ended the game losing 3-0 by forfeit for lack of players considering how many should have been sent off... the only thing that dream team was capable of in this game was butchering Milan players that were constantly dribbling and messing with them like a child's play

I don't think Koeman was a particularly good defender - a great scorer of penalties and free kicks yes, but not a good defender. The more I've seen of him in TH-cam videos, he seemed to be quite mediocre at the task of defending, and what's worse is that he often made up for his mediocrity with vicious fouling to stop opponents.
