My bottom teeth were crooked and overlapped. The dentist said the jaw isn't big enough for the teeth - that's when I was older. The dentist I had as a kid and young adult never made anything of it. When you get older a crooked tooth can knock out, displace the tooth next to it. If it's taken care of when younger, all the teeth have a chance to move and space correctly. It's really better that he does take care of this now. Prevents him from having to lose any teeth when the teeth don't have the time to space correctly. On that note, I'm going to say I knew a fellow who had a double row of upper teeth. He was a driver and bigger than me so when driving I was kinda looking up at him.
