  • A few weeks ago, we celebrated the beginning of construction for the future ArcelorMittal Kirchberg Headquarters.
With 7,300 m2 of land, 80 meters’ high, 22 levels, 89,000 m2 of gross floor area, 10,000 tonnes of steel (equivalent to three Eiffel Towers), and 840 m2 of photovoltaic panels… the building designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte is already fulfilling many superlatives!
In addition to being impressive, the building will be a forerunner in sustainable construction with the use of XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, saving 10.4 tonnes of CO2 per beam and receiving 3 major environmental labels: BREEAM, DNGB and WELL.
