The POV in the Corvair has to be one of the most underrated experiences! That thing is beyond cool! Hopefully a couple turbos or a supercharger is in the future. 1000 hp in that thing would be insurmountably cool!!

That 1980s model Toyota rear end in that Mini Cooper is perfect. they are tough little rear-ends. I had an 85 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a small-block 383-stroker and 35x15.50 swampers with a Detroit Locker and never broke anything in the rear end. They have a strong 8-inch ring gear with strong axles.
The enjoyment and humble attitudes everyone had made this video 10 times better. They built what they liked and thought was cool, it shows in every smile through out the video
There are so many cool rides at LS Fest its unreal. Everything from mild to wild comes out. Its a unique event with all the automotive diversity you could ask for. I hope Holley continues to put on the event, It seems like it keeps growing and getting better every year.
Love the Corvair truck build. Very creative and it really works! The Corvair trucks and the early ‘60’s Dodge A100 trucks had one thing in common. They could both do reverse wheelies under emergency braking!

Never understood burn-out pits, fans can’t see, driver can’t see and winning is based on someone’s opinion, not my thing! Lots of cool,cool cars though! The ride along video is the icing on the cake! When I can see a grin, smile or hear laughter, I'm right there with you. You only need enough HP to get to the grin!
I've ridden in many heavy vehicles with 400 hp, like a yukon denali. But my brother in law just got his 1970 Nova done and 400hp is crazy in a muscle car compared to a heavy suv. Couldn't stop smiling.
The Twinnebago is not the fastest thing on the planet but, For what it is it catches most off guard when the engine gets in the upper RPM and the turbos come online. The actual scary part isn't the going portion of the ride its the stopping portion of the ride 😆
All you really need to know is that some guy ran 10s with an LS swapped Crown Vic with a DIY lift kit, Baja shocks, and KO2s. Everyone else is just fighting for 2nd place in this video.
That Mini is amazing. Right down to the builders note on the intake. "You Dont Have To Drive This Home, SEND IT!" love it. Thats what pulling wrenches is about right there. One hell of an engine build to put up with that and drive back to the pits not even spillin any fluids

Funny story about that that first LS Mini is it's from my area of SoCal and it was forsale for about 5 years with a 5.0 in it from a Foxbody. Crazy to see it on here.

Haven't seen that hearse in a while. He did a nice job on refreshing it. That classic Mini did the best burnout out. He meant business! Those first generation Ford Panther cars make excellent sleepers and street cars. 1980s Detroit beasts can easily fit aftermarket big blocks and parts, along with thick rubber radials and eagles.

That Crown Vic had such a cool look with the Turbo eyes/headlights and it's slant when it goes, the Twinnebago looks awesome with that model year, it yearns to go and that Corvair was surprisingly nimble around the track and that dude's attitude is the best. ♥

Happy to see it blow some circles in the end though!
