I do oem perma at 255 12-15 mins and the only one I’ve done at 275 is the vette c7 lights for 8-10 mins, aftermarket ones that come with perma 270 is usually the number for 10-12mins.
@@NextLevelNeo well, between "hard to do" and "almost impossible" there's a huge difference that can change the job from headache to pain in the ass ! And I want to know if I need to prepare myself for the first or the second option.
@dadadu16 is all in the tools and techniques. Permaseal unfortunately can vary and some lights need different temps. I just did some vland lights that needed about 290f. That's not typical and will melt a lot of cheaper lights. Risk is part of retrofitting, you gotta factor that into price.
Have you ever done a Grand Cherokee light? 2018 ?

Bmwx3 e83 2009 headlights have you done them before
I have not but many German cars are Permaseal.

To be able to open the headlight, what temperature is necessary in degrees celsius on a jaguar X-type ?
thank you
I haven't done that car myself but start at 130c for 5 min.
@@NextLevelNeo thank you🙂
Autoglym tar and adhesive remover works
250 - 275 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit?
@deyanstoev7831 Fahrenheit for sure. Definitely not Celsius
Did you done it on a 2014 vw golf 7? It seems very hard even with using an oven.
Permaseal is not fun or easy. This is why builders charge more to do them

@@NextLevelNeo interresting... 290°F seems pretty hot, which max temperature do you think is safe to not melt plastic?
@dadadu16 250f for 10min at a time is safe for 99% of what I've seen
Subaru BRZ VLAND headlights, good or bad permaseal in your opinion?
I did a set a few years back that was butyl. Not sure if they switched or not
@@NextLevelNeo still perma. theyre horrible .
Doing my 07 Camry in a couple weeks. Somewhere I read it may use Permaseal. Can anybody confirm? Thanks.
I'm pretty sure that's butyl
yea ive done one of these too and they suckkkkkk
Not great but so much better than some of the stuff I've opened. I'm pretty sure permaseal was created by the devil.
@@NextLevelNeo 💯 lmao
