Sometimes getting over a lifetime of servitude and abuse and learning to become a leader takes some time learning what you are capable of , and where to use that capability , Wyatt has to break that habit and replace it with wisdom. Real life is like that .
The same thing happens to me, I never read or participate in, now I go back again and again to see and enjoy the pleasure of reading and participating in comments, I find this community very nice and with people who know what they are talking about, but something funny happened to me, suddenly I do not find comments that I am sure I have done but I do find answers to my comments 🤨🤨😂😂😂.
Complex interactions can be .... annoying but this was well done. Characters you can relate to are the true value in a good story. I can imagine a great conversation over a morning cup of coffee with this author. My dream!
I am speculating that they'll be putting Wyatt in command of the Noirnavio during part of the cleansing mission. But I also expect that he and the fighter talon will be mining and ambushing any smaller Drazzan patrols they can pick off. If the Drazzan try a counter attack, the Noirnavio could then ambush the counter attacking force. It's going to be a lot of ambushes and hit and run attacks that will let them reclaim the system.
I really love this story. it's hard to find others I like to fill the gaps. I have already listened to it from the start countless times. Great writing Ekhidna.

Galt’s character displays great honor and honesty. He is well positioned to be the founder of a new Noble house, subordinating himself to the House Astor, etc.
I don't think he will found a new house, however I think (assuming they win) that Clara and her brother will raise the importance of Galt within his own house and perhaps raise his house's importance perhaps even replacing house Cayston. clara seems very much the type of person who would reward those who help her whilst crushing those who oppose her. The other possibility is that Wyatt ends up as a far more senior noble, perhaps an Earl or (if he marries Clara) even a Duke and would thus have vassal houses beneath his, I could well see Galt accepting that role as head of a junior house. I'm going to make a prediction based on previous in story comments, assuming they can somehow win against what should be a superior Drazzan Force with Wyatt playing a significant role then it won't be Lt Wyatt any more. If this "Victory" occurs in a well observed manner then afterwards very few of the officers will try picking on Wyatt, they may still resent his being made a noble but the vast majority will accept him as a competent officer and I have to believe that discipline within the service is such that more junior officers will not be making foolish moves such as those we see here... Mind you after Wyatt offering the Sgt the opportunity to challenge him to a duel and the Sgt turning tail and running away I think that a lot less likely. Wyatt's reputation as a ruthless dualist is clearly already out there, otherwise a Marine Sergeant Major and a noble would have taken the opportunity and issued the challenge. I think we will see Wyatt gaining a reputation as both an officer who leads from the front and by example, not asking his juniors to do anything he would not do, but also giving credit where credit is due which seams to be a rarity. I suspect this will put a number of noses out of joint but those he leads will admire and respect him because of it.

It's better than that, he does not challenge them he tells them, if you think you can take me you can always request a duel, this allows them to retreat with honour intact (just about) by not issuing a duel, If they had done so then by the rules Wyatt would be the one who could choose the type of Duel (pistols would certainly have been involved) and I'm sure they knew that. However the word will soon get out there that they are not as brave as they make out LOL
When I was in the army we were taught that the best face of an asymmetric battle was the guerrilla tactics, this is demonstrated in several cases in practice, in fact we had guerrilla courses, traps, strategies etc., hit, run, ambush, To disappear and reappear, as far as possible in the rear, where the "less courageous" and the command are usually found.

Pocket battleship is the perfect raider. The ambushing fleet thinks you will stay and fight, then they swoop in. Engage in a devestating raid and finsh the ambushing fleet after they engage the drazan fleet. Think like a pirate you have a bunch aboard.

@@thomasohanlon1060 As Galt pointed out- Wyatt knows the tactics that can be employed for a Lone ship to engage a larger Drazzan force, especially if he can catch them by surprise, then possibly enlist assistance from any remaining Pirates that might still be in the system… Wyatt has seen to use the Noirnavio as an Oversized Fighter on Steroids has merit… I can see Redford Starting the fight, with Wyatt leading the Air Wing in a “Reconnaissance by Fire”, While Redford supports with the Noirnavio, then Wyatt having to relieve Redford to finish the battle… Both Galt & Redford already know Wyatt has the Skills, however Wyatt doesn’t have the implants, but I have a Strong Feeling- Wyatt has enough Anger towards Drazzan, i doubt he’d really need them…
@@daghost11 The main issue with that is he really lacks self-control, remember if the ship is in a prolonged battle and if Wyatt can not control his aggression he can kill the entire crew.

So looking forward to the cleansing of Hastrung. No way they can directly take on the Drazzan. But if they use the Noirnavio and the fighter squadrons' stealth capabilities they could whittle them down through hit and run engagements. And if the local rebels have survived at all, they would easily be convinced to join forces to avoid being dinner.

Could be that the Drazzen get the drop on the Felicity’s fleet, they lose a couple of ships then Wyatt and the Princess must come to the rescue. One way or the other, I do believe we will see them joining forces, regardless of who is in the right; honor means everything
I could see using some probes to make the jump Signature look bigger then it is. That way. They can hide deeper in the system while the Drawzan look Else were given time to set up a plan on how to deal with them. And any new Probes coming in could keep the drawzen looking in the wrong direction.
@@snowwolf8186 I was coming up with ways to use those probes too. Too bad Clara only has the one ship. If they could launch probes from several of the 7 entry points at once it would potentially split the drazzan's forces. Sending a bunch in along with the noirnnavio then having them all take off in different directions using active sensor sweeps while the Noirnavio goes silent would both split the drazzan forces and let the Noirnavio slip in unseen.
@@ardrej I can see him getting the first new one built, as a result of this upcoming battle. But that would take time so Wyatt can grow into becoming an officer, that could be capable of being not just a combat commander but a solid general officer.

Excellent! Pieces are in play. Still don't expect action until Ch 44, but I'm sure it will be well worth the wait! Clara's handling of her subordinates was good to see. Apparently, however, Redford doesn't know about the headset that allowed Wyatt to command the Noirnavio without implants. That may be for the best, since the Composters will need their commander. I still think the pirates are gone or hiding. The system Clara's group came from was overrun by the Drazzan, who have larger ships which are better maintained, plus the Drazzan fighter complement which is considered enormous. On a totally unrelated topic, I'm still wondering who the duke is working with, and I was thinking about the Eribeans. I assumed their tech level was comparable to the principality, but they have worked with the Drazzan in the past. At least an interesting possibility.
Well, I am surprised that we are still in chapter 43. I am glad this episode starts with Clara giving a full run down of her deal with house Firentis. It's interesting seeing how Wyatt feels about Clara's plan now it's more "real" and already is anticipating getting to kill lots of Drazin! Wyatt's bit of an adrenaline/battle junkie when it comes to Drazin. I do like how Galt is the 1st to break the ice 🧊 with saying that Clara's plan is impossible and how the following officers follow Galts diplomatic example. I do like how Fabian is blunt in explaining how the Noirnavio alone does not have the combat power to deal with the Drazin pirate fleet and gives Clara and us readers a full breakdown of the forces of the Noirnavio. 😊 Nice touch EkhidnaWritez telling us that recon probes with FTL capacity give off a warp signature of a small freighter. I am glad Redford points out that Felicity Cintor's squadron has been following them and may attack them in the Hangstrong system. It was smart for Clara praise her officers to come up with a effective plan handling the pardoned pirates. 😊 Good to hear how the pardoned pirates and young children are doing from Galt. It's interesting and funny hearing that Salazar Reid is part of the officers that are helping undo indoctrination the the pirates and children have and he's doing a decent job at it. 😮 I do like how Galt responds to Clara's question if they can win against the Drazin 11:40. Basically saying that the only way they have a chance is do similar things that Wyatt did with the Noirnavio at the battle of Gintrax. It's interesting to hear that in many ways the Noirnavio is similar to Erebians have but better without their versions weaknesses.I do think that Redford should send probes to go Hangsrtong system from every hyper route vector. This way it will cause the Drazin to be not sure which direction potential attack will come from and either spread themselves thin trying to cover all 7 ways or focus on a few and leave some completely open or barely covered. They could then also send 2 wave of probes to get some updates just before jumping in to see changes before making a final decision. It is good idea that Redford gets advice from Wyatt how to use Noirnavio in combat, since he is the only one on the ship that has actually properly used it in combat. I do like how Redford tells Clara that she was not foolish with her plan but it was rash in response to Clara’s question. Good to hear that reasoning that Clara wants to focus on building escort ships is because they take less time to build, cost and crew and that her Uncle is going to most likely focus on building cruisers and battle cruisers which will take more time to build and crew them. I do like how Redford say no to Milkades thought to having Wyatt command the ship largely due to him not having the cybernetic implant that allows him to connect to the ship directly and potential risk brain damage if the battles last too long or are too close together for him to recover mentally and physically. I do like how Cynthia speaks reasonably that Wyatt has no experience in direct command large groups, so possible not good idea to have him command all of the starfighters wings during battle. Nice touch from EkhidnaWritez with the funny scene where Milkades tries to have Wyatt trained to become an agent, Clara says nice try but she will not be parted from her personal pilot ace! 😂 Nice we learn the names of the other 4 RM that where part of Milkades’s team on Firentis. I do like how they talk about how it’s a miracle that Wyatt was able to largely by himself rebuild his mind into a mostly functional person and how Clara suspects if he were taken away from home before doing it himself he’s mind would have broken or became a cold blooded killer. Nice hilarious part where Clara teases Redford saying Wyatt is paradoxical! 🤣😂 I was surprised that Wyatt gave Galt a knitted scarf he made himself but really should not have since Wyatt loves to knit and it makes it even more valuable as a gift, especially since he’s now a noble and nobles rarely do such things. Nice touch Wyatt puts Galt’s houses heraldic shield on it, no surprise that Galt treasures it greatly and will give it to his daughter. Nice way how it transitions to Wyatt asking Galt how to be a good leader and how Galt gives different ways of doing it. Its interesting how Galt has become a good mentor to Wyatt in how to be good officer, many ways better than Redford has. Its nice how Galt tells Wyatt to find a way to become a officer that stays true to his own values and how its similar to what Redford said before. 🙂 I do like how Wyatt decides to not mention himself was elevated by the Prince himself, his proximity to Clara and Cynthia and how it disguised himself at the mere thought of being a classic blue blood he so much hates. That he decides to use his rank as a Lt against a SM, that a noncomissioned officer is trying to command an officer. Then follows that up with saying that if random SM has some grievance with him, they can have a duel to settle it! Its hilarious how the SM and his fellows turn tail and run! 😆🤣😂 I think Salazar found some pleasure that someone else suffered humiliation for underestimating Wyatt. It seems to me that there will be a part 5 for this huge chapter or we will finally get to the next chapter. I do wonder who gave the heads up to the Drazin pirates about the upcoming House War in the Principality? I don't think it was Cornelius, since he tried to have a bloodless coup and trying to keep the Principality intact as possible. The below text is have on 2 different places tried to post but for some reason it gets deleted no matter how many times I up load it for no apearent reason and whoever deletes it does not tell me why they are doing it! 🤬 If its the author I just would like him to tell me some way roughly why its happening like potential spoiler and I would stop trying to up load this and not spoil his hard work! I suspect that Duke has found out a future external threat that will be probably come to Astor and if its not way more militarized and advanced tech it will be destroyed and/or exterminated. He thinks that the Prince does not had the resolve to do unspeakable things and/or mold the society to be more quick reacting to threats, focus on military build up and RAD to insure that there culture and its people survive the upcoming apocalypse. This could be why another probably human nation that created the black ships is giving so much resources to Draymore. I suspect that this new enemies path will lead them through the Pricipality, eventually what to where the creator’s of the black ships live and they want Astor to be as strong of a meat shield as possible. I don't think it has to do with the Drazin but they could be ended up being used as a pry bar or a distraction by this new even more dangerous enemy. That this new enemy will be what forces enactment of the defense treaty in the Pac Humanitous mention back in book 1 that will have nearly all of human star nations rally together to survive it.
One point you missed- Clara praising the Head Officer’s also confirmed Wyatt’s thoughts on what Clara was wanting of the Pirates, which will in turn raise Wyatt’s “Words of Wisdom” or Insight into Clara’s wishes towards the Other Nobles, that they’ll stop questioning Wyatt. I also liked Wyatt finally standing up to the “Nobles”, and remembering Clara’s words- Few Houses are on Par with the Royal House Astor… Wyatt no longer has to follow Blindly Other Lesser Nobility, then saying- We can always Duel if it’ll make ya feel better 😋🤣🤣

He started plotting this coup the moment he learned he was not going to be named Regent 3 years ago. 2. He has allied himself with a foreign power over whom he has no control. 3. He has refused to attempt to negotiate with the prince regarding the Drazzan, allowing them to run unchecked in neutral territories, and he has specifically stated he will not protect neutrals. 4. There have been comments he wants to confront both the Ykanti and the Drazzan militarily if he wins. This after wrecking the principality in a completely unnecessary war based on his pride and ego. Not a good idea. Winning a war requires a combatant to start with and maintain an effective economy which the principality will need to reestablish after this war, which will take a long time.

@fem.villagracia6764 Yep. My thought at the end of last chapter when the traitors made plans. They for sure will send a probe to keep up with the battle and know when to strike... Maybe the Noirnavio crew could hide from the drazzan within the system, capture and hack the probe to feed them false information, making them think the Noirnavio just barely finishes the drazzan, heavily damaged... and lure them to the system.
Wyatt needs to brush up on his swordsmanship asap, i suspect Salazar Reid might well warn the other marines not to get in a pistol duel with Wyatt so i could well see him in a sword duel if he's not careful.
I think it was interesting that Reid was present to witness that. I have a feeling the man will probably respect the way wyatt dealt with that situation more than anything.
I don't think Salazar is going to say anything about his duel with Wyatt. For 1, it is his shame. And 2. I could see a redemption arc for Salazar, involving Wyatt, Galt, Salazar, and who was the pilot the Reids basically made fall? Docar? Can you imagine? Salazar and the other pilot becoming friends? And / or both Salazar and the other house reclaiming thier honor?

They need to trick the fleet trailing them to jump in first and get engaged in battle then enter after when both fleets are weekend. Some sort of ambush trick like was used by the fighter to take out a black ship in the first attack Wyatt lead.

I’ve been planning the attack for three days, based on an asymmetric battle, using the guerrilla system, first setting two traps, one for ships and one for fighters, attacking the Drazzans under Wyatt’s command, then fleeing, leading the Drazzans into one of the traps, Trick the Drazzans by mimicking the noirnavio register with fighters and transport, deploying the fighters under Wyatt’s command for an ambush and moving the covert noirnavio under Redford’s command to the Drazzan’s rear to finish them off.
I kind of feel sorry for Salazar. His indoctrination warped his mind, made him a giant dirt bag and now, hated by many he eats alone. It's not undeserved but just sad. Unless I'm looking to far into the situation. Also sounds like Wyatt not getting the black ship to smash plant monsters again is disappointing

@@ashtonkenady123 yes, from what was said without the extra implants he can only pilot it for so long before he suffers brain damage, maybe the implants provide buffers, if I recall correctly the last time Wyatt commanded the Noirnavio he could "feel" the ship perhaps if the ship had taken damage it would have hurt Wyatt through the feedback and those missing implants include some sort of dampers so he becomes aware of the damage but it does not damage him ?

I've listened to this a couple of times now & i can't help thinking that when Wyatt pulled rank on the Marine SGM to put him in his place, he should have also reminded him to salute, because you salute the rank not the man, because not only did he try to disrespect Wyatt, he also disrespected his rank which would not be allowed to stand.

This may disappoint you but Reid was not among the nobles that Wyatt aptly dissuaded from accosting him. Reid simply sat on the sidelines eating his meal.
I actually think the opposite. Salazar is pompous but he accepted the duel's conclusion. I think he may actually redeem himself in combat causing Wyatt to respect him despite their differences.

Lol I've enjoyed the chapter immensely, but still left wondering if you are going to have them do what I think you're going to have them do. And to my great satisfaction, the crumbs you continue to leave keep reinforcing what I've suspected you were going to do since the last part. You are matching wits with the master of the cliffhanger & he doesn’t play fair. Yet it’s all fun and I honestly think we all enjoy the challenge of maybe figuring something that will happen in the next episode/chapter.
*Sigh* Ekhidna just said there are two more parts to this chapter, and you know at least one will have the battle planning process with Wyatt. I want to see him set up a simulation. I also would like to see Jincho &co bash up those penetration aids I talked about in the last part - send in 2 or 3 probes with sensor enhancers to look like DD's, maybe throw in a comms scrambler tuned for Drazzan C3. Maybe use missiles as torpedoes again, carrying tactical mines for max effect. Used as torpedoes, there is no lock warning. All kinds of tricks to play. 😄
@@carsparks1980 Essentially my thought as well. Send in a small swarm of sensor ghosts to light the area up with interest to attract the Drazzen. Noirnavio goes in with them but immediately breaks away to hide and perform a wide flanking maneuver. Have the sensor ghosts fall back, forcing the drazzen to approach if they want more information. Basically keeping the the probes/sensor ghosts out of visual range. I'd also have Wyatt and half the fighters go with the sensor ghosts to show a proper fighter screen was being deployed, thus adding to the illusion of a larger strike group. In theory, or at least the goal, Felicity and company will drop in for their supposed "mop up action" right in the middle of a drazzen response group investigating all the warp in signatures. Chaotic battle ensues as their attention and firepower would be divided by the swarm of angry drazzen they inadvertently dropped in on and the apparent "fleet" from the Prince that also seemed to also show up out of nowhere. Edit: Wyatt and his fighters would eventually appear to be sensor ghosts and a mere diversion when Felicity's fleet and the Drazzen fire at them, but no response of any kind is given. The two sides would then settle in to focus on each other. Noirnavio steps out from the shadows to attack whoever is coming out on top toward the end of the battle. At that point, I'd send in Wyatt and his wings to abandon the probe sensor ghosts and strike with those missile/mine attacks from Felicity's rear flank when they least expect it. Meanwhile, I'd send out the other half of the fighters from Clara's ship to reinforce and drive home Noirnavio's attack from whatever direction they pop back in from. Only keeping a few fighters and Cynthia back just as an emergency screening group and guard for Clara to handle small surprises. Could even have a boarding action detail, led by Milkades (maybe even the pirates and mercs come along?), follow those fighters to take advantage of prizes of opportunity from either side. (Technology from the Drazzen, intelligence from Duke Draymore forces) Both Drazzen and Felicity and company should (obviously no guarantee) be completely shocked pretty much the entire time as surprise after surprise continue to be poured in on them. And with the fleets more than likely so entangled, it would be hard for either to flee. The only wrinkle would be the timing. Though I suspect, considering how highly Felicity and her group regard themselves, I don't think they would wait too terribly long to jump into the system after Clara. And with Wyatt and his fighters on one side of the vice and Redford on the other...what do you think? Edit: And in the end, if the Drazzen force present is too large, the Noirnavio can simply slip away and rejoin the fighters at the "ghost" fleet when Draymor's forces arrive. Then just let the Drazzen demolish Felicity's fleet while they pick the fighters back up. Who knows, maybe they'll think she's good enough for breed stock if she should survive. I shudder at the thought on one end, generally speaking, even as an incredibly small part of me finds the humiliating end of such a haughty person just a touch satisfying. *shrugs* Still, while not the overall victory they want, even this would result in the destruction of Draymor forces and the continued weakening of the Drazzen in the system and at least an increased stalling of any further incursions from them.
@@VlPER007 Go in loud, Go in proud. Go in where you're not allowed. :) I really like your idea of jumping in with the probes to deliberately enhance the warp signature. It would increase the response, and using a planet to hide the Noirnavio from scanners (as opposed to sensors) would be a good setup. I'm not sure about splitting off some of the fighters though. If Jintrax is anything to go by, even allowing for losses to the pirates the Drazzan fighter force is very possibly in excess of 1000. Drazzan jammers also raise issues of Command and Control for split forces. The problem is not insuperable, but it will be based on time and situation triggering plans, rather than direct command. As for Felicity &co, Max is the deciding factor. Never underestimate a man who has grown old in a profession that kills young men. Despite his arrogance, I suspect he will be more inclined to observe for a longer period rather than just jump in after a cursory look around with a probe. Felicity may - or may not - decide to listen. If she doesn't, his response could be interesting. Also, don't forget this will be black ship hunting black ship. Not going to be too easy for either side. Max is counting on the Noirnavio running hot - what if it isn't? Another question that could come up is rules of engagement between Draymore's forces and the Noirnavio crew. With Redford at the helm, this could get sticky. Another thing one of the lead up episodes will cover is the talk between the prince and Clara. This will have an effect on the battle, what that will be we'll just have to see.

Here, they should be rather damaged after rooting out pirates that had managed to hold against humans for decades. So there "shouldn't" be THAT many of anything after that kind of a slog. As for Max, I'd rather be counting on his abilities to level the playing field. I'd only order the attack after they had whittled down each other's numbers. This is theoretical, but with so many probes, could their combined sensors and communication abilities overturn jammers? That is not my field, and without more specifics on Drazzen tech, this is a hope rather than something to be relied on. Technically, and either way, they should have a good idea initially on the size of the Drazzen forces. So they could determine a better course at that point. But, being forced to engage Drazzen forces will also mean Felicity's ship is running hot while Noirnavio will not. So if the Drazzen are defeated, Noirnavio will have the decided advantage of stealth afterward and should be able to easily be able to identify and track Felicity's ship while it's obliged to defend itself against the Drazzen. I will also say that anytime you split your forces, it's a risk. But in this case, I think it would pay off in spades. Though I do concede Max being the primary wild card. Actually, it would rather tickle me to death if he sees his side about to lose and goes turncoat to save his skin. 😂 Something he has in fact already alluded to being pragmatic enough to consider.
What does it say that Juliana and Milkadies want Wyatt? What does it say that everyone wants Wyatt to command the Noranovio in battle? Clara will go to Wyatt to figure out the battle ahead. I still think the captured pirates' have a roll to play.
I'm starting to wonder if the problem with Wyatt's melee skills is just the weapon choice. I think a weapon like a Rapier might be right up his alley. Feints for deception, quick, targeted, opportunistic strikes given his tactical mind, etc.
Possibly but I am not sure if a rapier would have the strength to be made into a powered blade which would be a problem, still if they find something Wyatt can wield with skill perhaps Jincho can be persuaded to help with the required technology
A rapier is a point weapon rather than an edge weapon. This makes it great for dueling but less preferable for combat, where a properly administered edge attack (which includes slashing/slicing, not just hacks) can be very effective. Edge based weapons (broadsword, gladius, falchion, etc) also have the mass and strength for blocks. A good short sword, perhaps?

Gut feeling, both the Prince and Clara seem to regard the commoners more highly than many others, I think the original ideas of the Principality were probably not dissimilar to the British Army where officers are expected to lead by example as opposed to hiding at the rear issuing orders. Over time (generations) we see the whole power corrupts thing going on with many noble houses taking advantage of the commoners. I am hoping that Wyatt earns a lot more promotions in a manner that even the harshest critic cannot really object to, proving that he is a great leader AND ends up marrying Clara that would be potentially a huge thing proving that a commoner can rise on merit to one of the most important positions in the Principality, but we shall see what our Author has in mind
Not exactly what I expected, the truth about who was in command at Woodshaft, and who ended Samuel Kasten is going to come out. Wyatt may have to fight more than the Drazzen, and maybe more duels.

We must not forget that the rebel sector is not unarmed, the Firentis house has not been able to eliminate it in 30 years, I do not think there are still 3 fleets Drazzan in the system, maybe one and the rebels almost finished, Wyatt already faced a fleet Drazzan earlier, and once the battle begins the rebels will surely join, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Since the NoirNavio cant slip into the system and a drone will be detected, why not send Wyatt in in a fighter or cant it travel the slip stream? That should keep the jump signature down very small. Time to get the Yaconti on studying the Boogyman armour. One Yakonti in particular.

They could still bully both of them if their rank system includes time in rank & time in service like the US military. However Marine Sargent Majors are pretty scary, and if the Sgt. Maj. failed to bully Wyatt, then the other two Navy Lt.s didn't like their odds against a Knight Bannerette.
@@kazwright1233 The Royal Navy LT's know only too well who enobled Wyatt, way back in chapter 24 when Cynthia visited Wyatt in the medbay after he fainted, she told him the news of his enoblement had spread amongst the fleet, i think the actions of the Marine SGM probably took them by surprise & they only hung around to see which way the wind was going to blow.
An explanation of ftl travel would be appreciated. How close to a system can a ship warp? Is it more like Star Wars? Fixed lanes for travel. Or Star Trek? Where each ship goes it's own way. So far, it appears to be more like Star Wars.
Great episode! Clara needs to speed up Wyatt's schedule for getting implants. If he can fly the Noirnavio like a fighter without all the implants, imagine what he can do with all of them!
I think it's more a case of how long he can fly the Noirnavio for before something like feedback harms him, before Wyatt could "Feel" the ship, feel the power in the weapons and "see" through its sensors perhaps he would have also felt damage if that had occured, perhaps part of the implants he needs will place a limit on that feedback to hold it below damaging levels ?
maybe contact the pirates with help of the pirates they have on board to help fight the Drazzan or fool the Drazzan into attacking the other Black ships

Oh, please do, will.them.join firce to battle the Drazans, will whatever left joins the Prince fleet. and how would Clara convince them to leave the system, after all she promised ro return it back into House Ferantis hands..
I think something similar to Wood shaft will happen, the princess rescues the rebels from the Drazzan and they will join the princess in gratitude and together " dialogue" with the traitors.

I am speculating that they'll be putting Wyatt in command of the Noirnavio during part of the cleansing mission. But I also expect that he and the fighter talon will be mining and ambushing any smaller Drazzan patrols they can pick off.
If the Drazzan try a counter attack, the Noirnavio could then ambush the counter attacking force.
It's going to be a lot of ambushes and hit and run attacks that will let them reclaim the system.

Galt’s character displays great honor and honesty. He is well positioned to be the founder of a new Noble house, subordinating himself to the House Astor, etc.
I don't think he will found a new house, however I think (assuming they win) that Clara and her brother will raise the importance of Galt within his own house and perhaps raise his house's importance perhaps even replacing house Cayston. clara seems very much the type of person who would reward those who help her whilst crushing those who oppose her. The other possibility is that Wyatt ends up as a far more senior noble, perhaps an Earl or (if he marries Clara) even a Duke and would thus have vassal houses beneath his, I could well see Galt accepting that role as head of a junior house.

This last episode has been teasing me all week by appearing in my reccomendations. Finally a new one to alieve my suffering.
I got the sick but black ship new episode in first 5 minutes is one way to feel better
I'm going to make a prediction based on previous in story comments, assuming they can somehow win against what should be a superior Drazzan Force with Wyatt playing a significant role then it won't be Lt Wyatt any more. If this "Victory" occurs in a well observed manner then afterwards very few of the officers will try picking on Wyatt, they may still resent his being made a noble but the vast majority will accept him as a competent officer and I have to believe that discipline within the service is such that more junior officers will not be making foolish moves such as those we see here...
Mind you after Wyatt offering the Sgt the opportunity to challenge him to a duel and the Sgt turning tail and running away I think that a lot less likely. Wyatt's reputation as a ruthless dualist is clearly already out there, otherwise a Marine Sergeant Major and a noble would have taken the opportunity and issued the challenge.
I think we will see Wyatt gaining a reputation as both an officer who leads from the front and by example, not asking his juniors to do anything he would not do, but also giving credit where credit is due which seams to be a rarity. I suspect this will put a number of noses out of joint but those he leads will admire and respect him because of it.

It's better than that, he does not challenge them he tells them, if you think you can take me you can always request a duel, this allows them to retreat with honour intact (just about) by not issuing a duel, If they had done so then by the rules Wyatt would be the one who could choose the type of Duel (pistols would certainly have been involved) and I'm sure they knew that. However the word will soon get out there that they are not as brave as they make out LOL

When I was in the army we were taught that the best face of an asymmetric battle was the guerrilla tactics, this is demonstrated in several cases in practice, in fact we had guerrilla courses, traps, strategies etc., hit, run, ambush, To disappear and reappear, as far as possible in the rear, where the "less courageous" and the command are usually found.

@@danwhiteman2529 or better yet trick them into jumping in to be ambushed by the drazzan. Then whilst the battle is going on slip into the system and gather intelligence before getting into a battle. Would be a safer way for a lone ship to engage a larger force.

I can see Redford Starting the fight, with Wyatt leading the Air Wing in a “Reconnaissance by Fire”, While Redford supports with the Noirnavio, then Wyatt having to relieve Redford to finish the battle… Both Galt & Redford already know Wyatt has the Skills, however Wyatt doesn’t have the implants, but I have a Strong Feeling- Wyatt has enough Anger towards Drazzan, i doubt he’d really need them…

The main issue with that is he really lacks self-control, remember if the ship is in a prolonged battle and if Wyatt can not control his aggression he can kill the entire crew.

No way they can directly take on the Drazzan. But if they use the Noirnavio and the fighter squadrons' stealth capabilities they could whittle them down through hit and run engagements. And if the local rebels have survived at all, they would easily be convinced to join forces to avoid being dinner.
_Felicity's Fleet_ is going to be good for sucking up some _Drazzan_ rounds as well.

Could be that the Drazzen get the drop on the Felicity’s fleet, they lose a couple of ships then Wyatt and the Princess must come to the rescue. One way or the other, I do believe we will see them joining forces, regardless of who is in the right; honor means everything
I could see using some probes to make the jump Signature look bigger then it is. That way. They can hide deeper in the system while the Drawzan look Else were given time to set up a plan on how to deal with them.
And any new Probes coming in could keep the drawzen looking in the wrong direction.
@@snowwolf8186 I was coming up with ways to use those probes too. Too bad Clara only has the one ship. If they could launch probes from several of the 7 entry points at once it would potentially split the drazzan's forces. Sending a bunch in along with the noirnnavio then having them all take off in different directions using active sensor sweeps while the Noirnavio goes silent would both split the drazzan forces and let the Noirnavio slip in unseen.

Clara's handling of her subordinates was good to see. Apparently, however, Redford doesn't know about the headset that allowed Wyatt to command the Noirnavio without implants. That may be for the best, since the Composters will need their commander.
I still think the pirates are gone or hiding. The system Clara's group came from was overrun by the Drazzan, who have larger ships which are better maintained, plus the Drazzan fighter complement which is considered enormous.
On a totally unrelated topic, I'm still wondering who the duke is working with, and I was thinking about the Eribeans. I assumed their tech level was comparable to the principality, but they have worked with the Drazzan in the past. At least an interesting possibility.
Well, I am surprised that we are still in chapter 43. I am glad this episode starts with Clara giving a full run down of her deal with house Firentis. It's interesting seeing how Wyatt feels about Clara's plan now it's more "real" and already is anticipating getting to kill lots of Drazin! Wyatt's bit of an adrenaline/battle junkie when it comes to Drazin.
I do like how Galt is the 1st to break the ice 🧊 with saying that Clara's plan is impossible and how the following officers follow Galts diplomatic example. I do like how Fabian is blunt in explaining how the Noirnavio alone does not have the combat power to deal with the Drazin pirate fleet and gives Clara and us readers a full breakdown of the forces of the Noirnavio. 😊 Nice touch EkhidnaWritez telling us that recon probes with FTL capacity give off a warp signature of a small freighter.
I am glad Redford points out that Felicity Cintor's squadron has been following them and may attack them in the Hangstrong system. It was smart for Clara praise her officers to come up with a effective plan handling the pardoned pirates. 😊
Good to hear how the pardoned pirates and young children are doing from Galt. It's interesting and funny hearing that Salazar Reid is part of the officers that are helping undo indoctrination the the pirates and children have and he's doing a decent job at it. 😮
I do like how Galt responds to Clara's question if they can win against the Drazin 11:40. Basically saying that the only way they have a chance is do similar things that Wyatt did with the Noirnavio at the battle of Gintrax. It's interesting to hear that in many ways the Noirnavio is similar to Erebians have but better without their versions weaknesses.I do think that Redford should send probes to go Hangsrtong system from every hyper route vector. This way it will cause the Drazin to be not sure which direction potential attack will come from and either spread themselves thin trying to cover all 7 ways or focus on a few and leave some completely open or barely covered. They could then also send 2 wave of probes to get some updates just before jumping in to see changes before making a final decision.
It is good idea that Redford gets advice from Wyatt how to use Noirnavio in combat, since he is the only one on the ship that has actually properly used it in combat. I do like how Redford tells Clara that she was not foolish with her plan but it was rash in response to Clara’s question. Good to hear that reasoning that Clara wants to focus on building escort ships is because they take less time to build, cost and crew and that her Uncle is going to most likely focus on building cruisers and battle cruisers which will take more time to build and crew them.
I do like how Redford say no to Milkades thought to having Wyatt command the ship largely due to him not having the cybernetic implant that allows him to connect to the ship directly and potential risk brain damage if the battles last too long or are too close together for him to recover mentally and physically. I do like how Cynthia speaks reasonably that Wyatt has no experience in direct command large groups, so possible not good idea to have him command all of the starfighters wings during battle.
Nice touch from EkhidnaWritez with the funny scene where Milkades tries to have Wyatt trained to become an agent, Clara says nice try but she will not be parted from her personal pilot ace! 😂 Nice we learn the names of the other 4 RM that where part of Milkades’s team on Firentis. I do like how they talk about how it’s a miracle that Wyatt was able to largely by himself rebuild his mind into a mostly functional person and how Clara suspects if he were taken away from home before doing it himself he’s mind would have broken or became a cold blooded killer. Nice hilarious part where Clara teases Redford saying Wyatt is paradoxical! 🤣😂
I was surprised that Wyatt gave Galt a knitted scarf he made himself but really should not have since Wyatt loves to knit and it makes it even more valuable as a gift, especially since he’s now a noble and nobles rarely do such things. Nice touch Wyatt puts Galt’s houses heraldic shield on it, no surprise that Galt treasures it greatly and will give it to his daughter. Nice way how it transitions to Wyatt asking Galt how to be a good leader and how Galt gives different ways of doing it. Its interesting how Galt has become a good mentor to Wyatt in how to be good officer, many ways better than Redford has. Its nice how Galt tells Wyatt to find a way to become a officer that stays true to his own values and how its similar to what Redford said before. 🙂
I do like how Wyatt decides to not mention himself was elevated by the Prince himself, his proximity to Clara and Cynthia and how it disguised himself at the mere thought of being a classic blue blood he so much hates. That he decides to use his rank as a Lt against a SM, that a noncomissioned officer is trying to command an officer. Then follows that up with saying that if random SM has some grievance with him, they can have a duel to settle it! Its hilarious how the SM and his fellows turn tail and run! 😆🤣😂 I think Salazar found some pleasure that someone else suffered humiliation for underestimating Wyatt.
It seems to me that there will be a part 5 for this huge chapter or we will finally get to the next chapter. I do wonder who gave the heads up to the Drazin pirates about the upcoming House War in the Principality? I don't think it was Cornelius, since he tried to have a bloodless coup and trying to keep the Principality intact as possible.
The below text is have on 2 different places tried to post but for some reason it gets deleted no matter how many times I up load it for no apearent reason and whoever deletes it does not tell me why they are doing it! 🤬 If its the author I just would like him to tell me some way roughly why its happening like potential spoiler and I would stop trying to up load this and not spoil his hard work!
I suspect that Duke has found out a future external threat that will be probably come to Astor and if its not way more militarized and advanced tech it will be destroyed and/or exterminated. He thinks that the Prince does not had the resolve to do unspeakable things and/or mold the society to be more quick reacting to threats, focus on military build up and RAD to insure that there culture and its people survive the upcoming apocalypse.
This could be why another probably human nation that created the black ships is giving so much resources to Draymore. I suspect that this new enemies path will lead them through the Pricipality, eventually what to where the creator’s of the black ships live and they want Astor to be as strong of a meat shield as possible. I don't think it has to do with the Drazin but they could be ended up being used as a pry bar or a distraction by this new even more dangerous enemy. That this new enemy will be what forces enactment of the defense treaty in the Pac Humanitous mention back in book 1 that will have nearly all of human star nations rally together to survive it.
One point you missed- Clara praising the Head Officer’s also confirmed Wyatt’s thoughts on what Clara was wanting of the Pirates, which will in turn raise Wyatt’s “Words of Wisdom” or Insight into Clara’s wishes towards the Other Nobles, that they’ll stop questioning Wyatt.
I also liked Wyatt finally standing up to the “Nobles”, and remembering Clara’s words- Few Houses are on Par with the Royal House Astor… Wyatt no longer has to follow Blindly Other Lesser Nobility, then saying- We can always Duel if it’ll make ya feel better 😋🤣🤣

I have to disagree with this statement.
1. He started plotting this coup the moment he learned he was not going to be named Regent 3 years ago.
2. He has allied himself with a foreign power over whom he has no control.
3. He has refused to attempt to negotiate with the prince regarding the Drazzan, allowing them to run unchecked in neutral territories, and he has specifically stated he will not protect neutrals.
4. There have been comments he wants to confront both the Ykanti and the Drazzan militarily if he wins. This after wrecking the principality in a completely unnecessary war based on his pride and ego. Not a good idea. Winning a war requires a combatant to start with and maintain an effective economy which the principality will need to reestablish after this war, which will take a long time.

They for sure will send a probe to keep up with the battle and know when to strike...
Maybe the Noirnavio crew could hide from the drazzan within the system, capture and hack the probe to feed them false information, making them think the Noirnavio just barely finishes the drazzan, heavily damaged... and lure them to the system.
Wyatt needs to brush up on his swordsmanship asap, i suspect Salazar Reid might well warn the other marines not to get in a pistol duel with Wyatt so i could well see him in a sword duel if he's not careful.
I think it was interesting that Reid was present to witness that. I have a feeling the man will probably respect the way wyatt dealt with that situation more than anything.
I don't think Salazar is going to say anything about his duel with Wyatt. For 1, it is his shame. And 2. I could see a redemption arc for Salazar, involving Wyatt, Galt, Salazar, and who was the pilot the Reids basically made fall? Docar? Can you imagine? Salazar and the other pilot becoming friends? And / or both Salazar and the other house reclaiming thier honor?

No way can they help , the three adults were surrendered just before they left to start this operation.
They need to trick the fleet trailing them to jump in first and get engaged in battle then enter after when both fleets are weekend. Some sort of ambush trick like was used by the fighter to take out a black ship in the first attack Wyatt lead.
I just caught up for this to be the last chapter oh how the joy and sorrow mix😅 pleasure to meet everyone who frequents the comment section may our future chapters never leave us wanting and the time passes quickly until the next upload

'Bout damn time he stood up for himself.
I’ve been planning the attack for three days, based on an asymmetric battle, using the guerrilla system, first setting two traps, one for ships and one for fighters, attacking the Drazzans under Wyatt’s command, then fleeing, leading the Drazzans into one of the traps, Trick the Drazzans by mimicking the noirnavio register with fighters and transport, deploying the fighters under Wyatt’s command for an ambush and moving the covert noirnavio under Redford’s command to the Drazzan’s rear to finish them off.
I kind of feel sorry for Salazar. His indoctrination warped his mind, made him a giant dirt bag and now, hated by many he eats alone. It's not undeserved but just sad. Unless I'm looking to far into the situation.
Also sounds like Wyatt not getting the black ship to smash plant monsters again is disappointing

@@ashtonkenady123 yes, from what was said without the extra implants he can only pilot it for so long before he suffers brain damage, maybe the implants provide buffers, if I recall correctly the last time Wyatt commanded the Noirnavio he could "feel" the ship perhaps if the ship had taken damage it would have hurt Wyatt through the feedback and those missing implants include some sort of dampers so he becomes aware of the damage but it does not damage him ?
@@ashtonkenady123Wyatt can handle the command, just not for a prolonged period of time due to the mental strain, and Wyatt lacks the implants that would allow him to compensate… Now with that being said- Wyatt when he Did take command, he was already injured and still managed to Mission kill a Destroyer & Kill a Cruiser, knowing Drazzan Tactics & ships… Wyatt would be entering the battle without those limitations on a Fresh, Healthy Body & Mind… I can see Wyatt leading a Reconnaissance in Force with the Fighter Wing, and attempt to make contact with any Pirates in the system to enlist their help to see what the situation is… Then potentially Wyatt taking command of the Noirnavio before the end of the engagement, to give Redford a needed break…

I've listened to this a couple of times now & i can't help thinking that when Wyatt pulled rank on the Marine SGM to put him in his place, he should have also reminded him to salute, because you salute the rank not the man, because not only did he try to disrespect Wyatt, he also disrespected his rank which would not be allowed to stand.
There are no salutes in the mess hall, there would be endless interruptions, specially if there is no separate mess hall for officers

This may disappoint you but Reid was not among the nobles that Wyatt aptly dissuaded from accosting him. Reid simply sat on the sidelines eating his meal.
I actually think the opposite. Salazar is pompous but he accepted the duel's conclusion. I think he may actually redeem himself in combat causing Wyatt to respect him despite their differences.

Yet it’s all fun and I honestly think we all enjoy the challenge of maybe figuring something that will happen in the next episode/chapter.
*Sigh* Ekhidna just said there are two more parts to this chapter, and you know at least one will have the battle planning process with Wyatt. I want to see him set up a simulation.
I also would like to see Jincho &co bash up those penetration aids I talked about in the last part - send in 2 or 3 probes with sensor enhancers to look like DD's, maybe throw in a comms scrambler tuned for Drazzan C3. Maybe use missiles as torpedoes again, carrying tactical mines for max effect. Used as torpedoes, there is no lock warning. All kinds of tricks to play. 😄

Essentially my thought as well. Send in a small swarm of sensor ghosts to light the area up with interest to attract the Drazzen. Noirnavio goes in with them but immediately breaks away to hide and perform a wide flanking maneuver. Have the sensor ghosts fall back, forcing the drazzen to approach if they want more information. Basically keeping the the probes/sensor ghosts out of visual range. I'd also have Wyatt and half the fighters go with the sensor ghosts to show a proper fighter screen was being deployed, thus adding to the illusion of a larger strike group.
In theory, or at least the goal, Felicity and company will drop in for their supposed "mop up action" right in the middle of a drazzen response group investigating all the warp in signatures. Chaotic battle ensues as their attention and firepower would be divided by the swarm of angry drazzen they inadvertently dropped in on and the apparent "fleet" from the Prince that also seemed to also show up out of nowhere. Edit: Wyatt and his fighters would eventually appear to be sensor ghosts and a mere diversion when Felicity's fleet and the Drazzen fire at them, but no response of any kind is given. The two sides would then settle in to focus on each other.
Noirnavio steps out from the shadows to attack whoever is coming out on top toward the end of the battle. At that point, I'd send in Wyatt and his wings to abandon the probe sensor ghosts and strike with those missile/mine attacks from Felicity's rear flank when they least expect it. Meanwhile, I'd send out the other half of the fighters from Clara's ship to reinforce and drive home Noirnavio's attack from whatever direction they pop back in from. Only keeping a few fighters and Cynthia back just as an emergency screening group and guard for Clara to handle small surprises. Could even have a boarding action detail, led by Milkades (maybe even the pirates and mercs come along?), follow those fighters to take advantage of prizes of opportunity from either side. (Technology from the Drazzen, intelligence from Duke Draymore forces)
Both Drazzen and Felicity and company should (obviously no guarantee) be completely shocked pretty much the entire time as surprise after surprise continue to be poured in on them. And with the fleets more than likely so entangled, it would be hard for either to flee. The only wrinkle would be the timing. Though I suspect, considering how highly Felicity and her group regard themselves, I don't think they would wait too terribly long to jump into the system after Clara. And with Wyatt and his fighters on one side of the vice and Redford on the other...what do you think?
Edit: And in the end, if the Drazzen force present is too large, the Noirnavio can simply slip away and rejoin the fighters at the "ghost" fleet when Draymor's forces arrive. Then just let the Drazzen demolish Felicity's fleet while they pick the fighters back up. Who knows, maybe they'll think she's good enough for breed stock if she should survive. I shudder at the thought on one end, generally speaking, even as an incredibly small part of me finds the humiliating end of such a haughty person just a touch satisfying. *shrugs* Still, while not the overall victory they want, even this would result in the destruction of Draymor forces and the continued weakening of the Drazzen in the system and at least an increased stalling of any further incursions from them.

I really like your idea of jumping in with the probes to deliberately enhance the warp signature. It would increase the response, and using a planet to hide the Noirnavio from scanners (as opposed to sensors) would be a good setup. I'm not sure about splitting off some of the fighters though. If Jintrax is anything to go by, even allowing for losses to the pirates the Drazzan fighter force is very possibly in excess of 1000. Drazzan jammers also raise issues of Command and Control for split forces. The problem is not insuperable, but it will be based on time and situation triggering plans, rather than direct command.
As for Felicity &co, Max is the deciding factor. Never underestimate a man who has grown old in a profession that kills young men. Despite his arrogance, I suspect he will be more inclined to observe for a longer period rather than just jump in after a cursory look around with a probe. Felicity may - or may not - decide to listen. If she doesn't, his response could be interesting.
Also, don't forget this will be black ship hunting black ship. Not going to be too easy for either side. Max is counting on the Noirnavio running hot - what if it isn't?
Another question that could come up is rules of engagement between Draymore's forces and the Noirnavio crew. With Redford at the helm, this could get sticky.
Another thing one of the lead up episodes will cover is the talk between the prince and Clara. This will have an effect on the battle, what that will be we'll just have to see.

The difference with Jintrax, is that is when the Drazzen fleet was fresh for a raid. Here, they should be rather damaged after rooting out pirates that had managed to hold against humans for decades. So there "shouldn't" be THAT many of anything after that kind of a slog.
As for Max, I'd rather be counting on his abilities to level the playing field. I'd only order the attack after they had whittled down each other's numbers.
This is theoretical, but with so many probes, could their combined sensors and communication abilities overturn jammers? That is not my field, and without more specifics on Drazzen tech, this is a hope rather than something to be relied on. Technically, and either way, they should have a good idea initially on the size of the Drazzen forces. So they could determine a better course at that point.
But, being forced to engage Drazzen forces will also mean Felicity's ship is running hot while Noirnavio will not. So if the Drazzen are defeated, Noirnavio will have the decided advantage of stealth afterward and should be able to easily be able to identify and track Felicity's ship while it's obliged to defend itself against the Drazzen.
I will also say that anytime you split your forces, it's a risk. But in this case, I think it would pay off in spades. Though I do concede Max being the primary wild card.
Actually, it would rather tickle me to death if he sees his side about to lose and goes turncoat to save his skin. 😂 Something he has in fact already alluded to being pragmatic enough to consider.
What does it say that Juliana and Milkadies want Wyatt? What does it say that everyone wants Wyatt to command the Noranovio in battle? Clara will go to Wyatt to figure out the battle ahead. I still think the captured pirates' have a roll to play.

I'm starting to wonder if the problem with Wyatt's melee skills is just the weapon choice. I think a weapon like a Rapier might be right up his alley. Feints for deception, quick, targeted, opportunistic strikes given his tactical mind, etc.
Possibly but I am not sure if a rapier would have the strength to be made into a powered blade which would be a problem, still if they find something Wyatt can wield with skill perhaps Jincho can be persuaded to help with the required technology
A rapier is a point weapon rather than an edge weapon. This makes it great for dueling but less preferable for combat, where a properly administered edge attack (which includes slashing/slicing, not just hacks) can be very effective. Edge based weapons (broadsword, gladius, falchion, etc) also have the mass and strength for blocks. A good short sword, perhaps?

Gut feeling, both the Prince and Clara seem to regard the commoners more highly than many others, I think the original ideas of the Principality were probably not dissimilar to the British Army where officers are expected to lead by example as opposed to hiding at the rear issuing orders. Over time (generations) we see the whole power corrupts thing going on with many noble houses taking advantage of the commoners.
I am hoping that Wyatt earns a lot more promotions in a manner that even the harshest critic cannot really object to, proving that he is a great leader AND ends up marrying Clara that would be potentially a huge thing proving that a commoner can rise on merit to one of the most important positions in the Principality, but we shall see what our Author has in mind

We must not forget that the rebel sector is not unarmed, the Firentis house has not been able to eliminate it in 30 years, I do not think there are still 3 fleets Drazzan in the system, maybe one and the rebels almost finished, Wyatt already faced a fleet Drazzan earlier, and once the battle begins the rebels will surely join, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

They could still bully both of them if their rank system includes time in rank & time in service like the US military. However Marine Sargent Majors are pretty scary, and if the Sgt. Maj. failed to bully Wyatt, then the other two Navy Lt.s didn't like their odds against a Knight Bannerette.

An explanation of ftl travel would be appreciated. How close to a system can a ship warp? Is it more like Star Wars? Fixed lanes for travel. Or Star Trek? Where each ship goes it's own way. So far, it appears to be more like Star Wars.

Great episode! Clara needs to speed up Wyatt's schedule for getting implants. If he can fly the Noirnavio like a fighter without all the implants, imagine what he can do with all of them!
I think it's more a case of how long he can fly the Noirnavio for before something like feedback harms him, before Wyatt could "Feel" the ship, feel the power in the weapons and "see" through its sensors perhaps he would have also felt damage if that had occured, perhaps part of the implants he needs will place a limit on that feedback to hold it below damaging levels ?
100 percent of the crew would have to be strapped down and maybe with flight suits ?
maybe contact the pirates with help of the pirates they have on board to help fight the Drazzan or fool the Drazzan into attacking the other Black ships

I think something similar to Wood shaft will happen, the princess rescues the rebels from the Drazzan and they will join the princess in gratitude and together " dialogue" with the traitors.
