It’s a sad generational problem that just keeps repeating itself in future generations to only depend upon government money to survive. 😢

Wow I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and this is eye opening to me in the sense that the amount of verbal abuse that these court appointed people take is unbelievable!!!!!!!!…. Not to mention the fact that they could be stabbed or in some cases shot !!!!!!!….i hope that they get paid well for this kind of job!!!!!…..I feel for the individuals that are in a bad way but at the end of the day it is what it is!!!!!!!…. My hat goes off to all of these man and women that inforce this type of work!!!!!!!…. I pray that both sides stay safe and keep the peace ☮️ if they can !!!

Anyone remember "Can't Pay We'll Take it Away"? This is the UK.
That is an awesome series! I loved the two older gentlemen who worked together, I think Paul Bowhill is one, and he's so sweet. They were so calm, but persistent. I even saw Paul pay for a night in a motel for a woman with young children, or he'll offer to put the kettle on so they can sit down and work out a payment plan. He's a gem.
Course I remember. Great show.
You guys have a really hard job, and watching this you all handle yourself very well. It is not your fault it is those that you have to evict.
The lady being evicted with her partner and has kids can't pay what she owes but can wear a thick gold chain that would cost quite a bit. Sell that and pay the guy what you owe. Plus clean your mess as well. Disgusting way to live especially with kids. Rubbish thrown out back and mould everywhere.
That chain is probably fake. In London some people on the street sell fake gold chains, bracelets, rings, etc...
And she has a dog!
She and her partner are the type that never take any responsibility for the havoc they create, her collection of "sh.t" is "my stuff", unpaid rent is "the councils fault" and on it goes, she will never change.
He's a terrible business man if he's in such debt. If anyone is a loser it's the shop owner. He brought it on himself. Must not know his to manage his finances. No one got him to this point but himself. He deserved jail for touching the debt officer and locking him in. Disgusting!!
That’s exactly what we need in America. Here, squatters have all the rights and it’s outrageous. Squatters are thieves who put homeowners in a terrible financial position just because they don’t feel like paying rent. And they often destroy the properties they are squatting in.
That destructive behaviour might come down to despair.
It's not for you or I to judge...

Having been there. I empathise and have sympathy for folks who lose everything. By God's Grace Mercy and Blessing my family and I continue to get through one day at a time. I keep Praying for both sides. 😢😢😢😢

I see a trend in these shows. Nobody seems to be afraid to assault, threaten or try to intimidate the Enforcers. I see now it's because there are no consequences. There's no way someone would hold me hostage, for any reason & then just say "it's all in a days work".

I wished we had this service in the US. Squatters taking advantage of empty homes and it’s a long process to kick them out.

Wow, in the US they leave your belongings on the curb. This man explained she could make an appt to come back for her belongings. She is being blessed to get those babies out of that mold and she’s not required to clean it.

The difference in policing from England to the USA is remarkable. Most of this people would get roughed up and go to jail. Assault, resisting arrest, terrorist threat, they would get several charges.
I wish we had crews like this in Canada. We just finished our court case to get rid of our one year squatter in our rental. We just have to hope she leaves because we don’t have anyone to enforce the court order.

I'm American, but it's unfathomable to me that so many young people in the UK refuse to work. I know that many may be disabled. Why do 99% of all these tenants live on benefits? I joined the US Army at 16, retired as a deputy Sherriff, and I currently work at a State Prison now. I get a VA pension, a good MD pension from The Sherriffs Department, & I am now working on my PA state pension. Law enforcement pensions in the USA are between 10 & 20 years because of the high stress work. You are a priority for hire if you are a US military veteran.

Insane how bad the black mold was on that horrible family at 30:00 is disturbing. This woman is getting her own kids sick potentially fatally and the newborn hasn’t a chance. You can’t breathe air that’s quality with the pollution as is , and she adds black mold , pet dander, insect dander and dust from all that crap in the house. Shameful way to conduct yourself. Give those kids up for adoption so they have a shot. This is crazy. Then 32:32 is just straight funny. These Britt’s have no manners at all.

Cheaper for the Councils to keep moving the travellers on & get the sites cleaned up than to have more public housing or designated areas for their vans, unfortunately.

One thing that I have also learned about in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 is not having access to hand guns they are using knives 🔪 to settle beefs. This has become a huge problem over the pond!!!!!!!……it’s a sticky situation where the police 👮 don’t carry hand guns.and yes they do have access to firearms in extreme circumstances.but on a day to day police 👮 beat I think 🤔 things can and will happen on both sides causing a unfortunate outcome for both parties involved…..!!!!!!…the world 🌎 has become more dangerous for everyone and sometimes even staying in your own lane doesn’t matter !!!!!!!!!!…..it may sound corny but we all need to look out for each other and the ones who can’t defend themselves!!!!!!!!!……much love and respect for all walks of life and peace ☮️ when it’s possible!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, it's usually the landlords bill, but it's a game of weighing things up - a squatter who is there illegally on a property that is not generating income vs a property that has been cleared by enforcers, and can be cleaned up and generte income.

I feel sorry for the young woman being evicted. Mental illness is debilitating, getting evicted just makes it worse. When you're mentally ill, having a safe, comfortable home is just everything. I get they had to do it, though. I hope she recovers and finds happiness.

Not much different from what happens in America. Creating more and more homeless. This is the future of how things are going. more empty shops as seen in lots of places in America. Even the working class people who have full-time jobs can lose everything, loss of work. Forever growing in homeless people on streets. Years to come there won't be many people for debt collection to get anything.
If the council spends a couple of thousand pounds a week evicting the travellers, why not spend that money on a bit of land out of the way, let them live on it and tell them that it's up to them to make sure the land is maintained and their rubbish is out for collection day? could even charge them 1 pd a week each or something.
They can afford their own land but they think they are entitled to use everyone else's, trash it and move on.
It has been tried. They wreck the property within a week and then they don't want to live there so they move on to the next location, rinse, repeat!

Especially as she was advised to stay until eviction notice. They must see some sad cases on a daily basis and they really do earn every dollar he's paid. In New Zealand there are limits to how much can be accpted in coins - if the coins are less than $1 it's up to $5 if it's coins are over $1 then the limit is $100.
