Living overseas but planning to return. Thank you for this. Wishing for my country of birth to rise like a Phoenix and be heaven on earth for all her citizens. Thank you for these videos.

Slowly but surely Jozi will be great again and it will be worth equally the same as Sandton or even more because of these CIDs. The best thing to do now is invest in it and in the next 20 years the returns will be great. As a Joburger myself I especially love chilling around that precinct.

    Wow.
I used to work at SARS in Rissik street not too far from Gandhi Square in the early 2000s. It wasnt so bad at that time but great to see it looking even better.
I always loved Jhb central. The nostalgia is on another level and the potential to become World Class is hair raising.
Hoping to see it all restored, cleaned, of all grime and vagrants, and keep it that way.

great content again Dave. I like the concept of CIDs I wish they can expand them allover the CBD. I think this will be the quickest way of reviving Jozi on a larger scale. Thanks once again.

Can Ghandi Square be turned into something like Time Square in New York?

OMG - so many fond memories of this place! Then it was known as Van der Bijl square. I am overjoyed - it will certainly have an honorable mention in my memoirs that i am currently working on. Love this!

    Another great video!
It's amazing the positive changes since I was last there in 2018. It's almost unrecognisable! Can't wait to return!

Thank you for trying to bring back Joburg to it's glorious years . I can still remember walking down Eloff street in the late 80"s. 👏👏👏

@ Getty Tshiketa The DA started the process of rejuvenating the JHB CBD in 2016 by reclaiming buildings that had been hijacked by slumlords for their own personal gain. The new DA administration (2021) under Dr Mpho Phalatse will continue with this rejuvenation of the inner city...

Everything that ANC touch it's in ruin . SA can be so much better without ANC , facts .
