Made this doily today..turned out beautiful..few points though 1. Pls mention yarn requirement. I was thinking it required 100 grams while it took less than 50 g. 2. Ch1 in the beginning of round doesn't count as a stitch. So when you finish by slip stitching into 1st chain.. it should be first stitch..not the ch1. Ch3 however counts as a stitch. I suppose someone who crochets regularly will be able to guess their way through it. I made guesses..and took clues from the videos. If I'm a beginner I'd have found it a little difficult.. Thanks..very beautiful doily
Yes, I know that the description of the pattern is not very successful, (considering that English is not my mother tongue) ..I showed this pattern in my own way. That's how I knew at the time.(I want to improve with each video).. This is one of my first videos on this channel ... because it is not a video for beginners, you may have difficulty.(I didn't specify anywhere that it would be a video for beginners) Anyway, it was a challenge to present this pattern in detail, which lasted a day of filming .... + Editing. I am on round 8 and I am finding that my edges aren't laying perfectly flat.
I think that one afternoon, you may be ready. I did it in one day, (it may take longer, due to filming) But if you use Timestamps (from the red stripe on the video), or from the description below the video ... you can do it work in rows, only when you have time ..🎀

Yes, it's normal. The crochet pattern is brought into shape after ironing . ( You can do this between rounds if you want it to look nice ).

I'm a little confused. In round 2 you chain 5 and skip a stitch but then don't skip any after that. That doesn't make sense to me.
