Ryan & Amy......I've been singing this song for many years. Written by Wiley Walker & Gene Sullivan. You mention Hank & Anita. Became a huge Hank Snow fan in 1950's. Amy......you sing really nice harmony! I've been a tenor singer all my life, and enjoyed you both on this great song.
Wow, I absolutely loved this Ryan and Amy. Yours is the best version I have heard since I first listened to Anita Carter and Hank Snow singing it more years ago than I care to remember. I think your work together is brilliant.
Well can't say much but that was super.and Newfoundland setting for sure. Just stumbled on your channel and can't believe I haven't seen it b4. Thanks! new sub and fellow newfie!
I had gotten discouraged with trying to learn the guitar and got tired of it. I hadn't played in a while. Then I viewed some of Ryan's songs, and I have renewed hope and I've been playing and practicing and ENJOYING it again. No other singer I've been listening to has been able to renew my enthusiasm except Ryan. Thank you, Ryan!
Ryan.. I was "Captured by the moment" from 0:00 till 0:37.. Your voice tembre & phrasing 'time warped' me straight back into 'me as a rug rat' hearing Jim Reeves records etc.. Music my mother loved to listen too.
Ryan and Amy, I enjoyed your version very much! Gosh! When I was a kid, my great-grandfather would play this for us kids - sing it and play on the piano. This brings back those wonderful memories. THANK YOU! God bless, Charlie
WOW Ryan....... My grandmother use to sing this when I was as small child, over 80 years ago....... So great to hear it again,, your "pickin" and voice are great. Happy to find you on line. Are you b y chance from Newfoundland?? Ken

Newfoundland, Canada
Also recorded by brother-sister duo Tim and Mollie O'Brien: th-cam.com/video/wkZmkxQjNks/w-d-xo.html
Not to be critical,,, but, Rayn should be the one harmonizing since Amy's voice is higher it would sound more tone even .. But GOOD JOB!!
to slow
First things first. You're a good singer. However she is barely singing in key. Your voices don't match even slightly.
