I'm gonna be honest, if there's a DC on either end, regardless of whether its anybody's fault, the game should be played out in the EXACT SAME WAY. I understand that sometimes secondary effects cannot be replicated so easily and I suppose that I'm fine with that (its not fair, but what are u gonna do, I get it). However, for one player to not even replicate the same moves? Sorry I'm not okay with that. As far as I'm concerned that's cheating, what's to stop people from dc'n on purpose?

+Rupert Jones I understand your point of view, but to me its not just the consequences that matter, its the (potential) intentions. This is supposed to be a tournament right? Certain standards should be strived for to ensure that it remains both competitive and fair. I don't think either of these two DCs have been on purpose, I Dont want to cast doubt on Shady's opponents' character, however we all know that there's a ton of pressure on these players to deliver good results. They don't want to disappoint their fans, and good people can make bad decisions in tough circumstances. If there is a standard for what should be done in these situations, then its never an issue to begin with
+Mehron Deriss I agree. This game should have a "reconnect" feature when you lose connection. that way, if your opponent selects "wait for the opposing trainer to reconnect", you can continue the game where you left off.
But since we don't have this feature, and apparently there's no rule in the tournament that says the players should replicate their moves, I think the players have the ethical obligation to at least try to replicate their moves.
Perhaps something similar to Pokemon showdown where u have about a minute or so to reconnect

It's because people like you comment saying they cheated. TH-camrs are paranoid about being called a cheater/only winning because of things like hax etc. As we've seen Shady even say "oh no now people are going to say I only won because of hax/crit". There's really no need, just watch the content and enjoy without making assumptions.
Twit actually uploaded this first and didn't have the comment section blocked. It was probably after people saw this after Shady uploaded that he decided to kill the comment section.

+David Marques i like to take my time to make a move to, when there is possibilities to think about, but twit takes the full minute even when the battle is lost or the play to make is only one... Our luck is that shady is a good entertainer and has always something to say to fill up that time, otherwise i would have felt asleep.

***** When you are accused of something you should defend yourself if you're innocent. If I was in his position and I was innocent I would show my footage including gameplay and cam footage but he didn't include that part in his video. Even Shaddy showed it because he knows it was kind of fishy. Also Twit didn't recreate what happened in the first battle, he used Tbolt instead of Vswitch which at the very least shows that he is dishonorable. And if he doesn't have honor why wouldn't I believe that he is capable of cheating?

FEARBAD Also it was just first turn and twit probably thought nothing of it, there not enough solid evidence to support twit cheated, and there no reason to defend himself over something so small. This are battle between friends, not enemies, yet some of the shady fan seem to think that way. It just for fun, and the fact that you taking this seriously is the real problem and why so many people are stressed and just want the UCL to be over.

Shady I PERSONALLY LOVE Physical Nidoking. Poison Jab, Rock Slide/Stone Edge, And 2 of the Punches(Ice/Thunder/Fire).
OR There IS the VERY rare MIXED Nido I run sometimes. Poison Jab, RS/SE, Flamethrower/T-Bolt/Ice Beam, and Earth Power

Poison jab, Bulldoze, and your choice of 3rd and 4th slot moves. Bulldoze does get the Sheer Force boost since it has a secondary effect of dropping the opponents speed.
Make it Jolly with Max attack and Speed the extra 4 in HP.
Life orb it, or if you REALLY wanna be THAT guy, band it ;)

Shady, Shadypeople, I'm so sorry to tell you this, but Twit is a cheater. The DC was on purpose, and he knows it. If you wanna know why, just keep reading. LIKE IF YOU AGREE.
1-) The DC just happened after a double full paralyze. That may be just a coincidence.
2-) On his side of the battle he says: ¨We litterately had just done our first move¨ when you were already 5 minutes in.
3-) He could have just Volt Switched again like he did on the real first turn, but instead he chose to Thunderbolt. Who does that? I mean, when there's a DC, you always try to recreate the battle until something changes (A secondary effect) or until everything is just like before.
4-) He has blocked the comments JUST FOR THIS VIDEO. I mean, you can comment on any other video, any other battle, or ANYTHING, but not on this one...
I don't know. That, all of that together, seems a little bit too weird to me.

Man, CS Infernape is so good. I use it in most of my teams like a false lead/late game sweeper and just destroys everything.

Hey shaddy, sup? So, I've been watching the UCL through you, Mo, Dan and Nipps and though I to make a team suggestion for you against Mo. I'm kinda newb, but I came up with a few ideas... Nothing impressive though.
Landorus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 150 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Def / 6 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Superpower
Landorus-T is too good against Mo to be left out. He counters Jirachi, Darmanitan and Chandelure and can hit hard pretty much everything in his team. This EV spread makes sure Landorus can survive an Ice Punch from Jirachi or an Ice Beam from a Clefable.
Shiftry @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Early Bird
Level: 50
EVs: 150 HP / 252 Atk / 106 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Seed Bomb
- Sucker Punch
- Aerial Ace
This set is tricky, but I think it may work well. The most common switch ins from Mo against Shiftry would be hitmonlee, jirachi and scyther, which means a right prediction can make you put a aerial ace to work, hitting this pokes pretty hard (Hitmonlee can be brought to less than 25% from his HP with one aerial ace). The Choice Scarf is to get off guard Scyther and, if brought in with a right prediction, you can finish him off with Aerial Ace and Knock Off. So, with a good momentum, specially a slow u-turn from Landorus, you can put so much work with Shiftry, specially when it can be the main counter for Mega Swampert.
Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
Level: 50
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
With Jolteon, you can pretty much use the Smogon set, with shadow ball to counter Jirachi and Thunderbolt to wreck fully specially defensive togekiss. Jolteon can outspeed pretty much everything in Mo's team, besides Choice Scarf Darmanitan, but with stealth rock damage and quick feet, you can take it out with just one thunderbolt (but make sure you can outspeed it, 'cause it can pretty much OHKO you with everything.)
Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
Level: 50
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Def / 20 SpA / 200 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
Milotic is the perfect wall against Mo, because it can not just tank any hit, but is able to counter many things, toxic poisoning Togekiss and even a Clefable, if it's not running Magic Guard. Ice Beam can 3HKO Togekiss and Scald can 2HKO Darmanitan and take pretty much anything Mo has with this spread that is kinda a mixed wall.
Mew @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Synchronize
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam (or Stealth Rock)
- Roost
- Gunk Shot
Within Mew, we can find the counter to Clefable, that is pretty much be the main threat to the team, so I thought a specially offensive set for Rufus. Psychic can take out Chandelure and hit hard most things in Mo's team with STAB, Dazzling Gleam is for Spiritomb, but you can run Stealth Rock for Chandelure and Darmanitan. Roost is a reliable recovery and, finally, Gunk Shot for the fairys.
Granbull @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Atk / 24 SpA
Brave Nature
- Play Rough
- Shadow Ball (Thunder Wave)
- Iron Tail
- Earthquake
Granbull may be your best answer to Spiritomb and even can cripple Jirachi to less than 1/4 of it's health. Shadow Ball is to surprise it and maybe get and SpDef drop, which would be incredible for your team. With the intimidate drop, Mo would need 2 hits to kill Granbull with jirachi's Iron Head.
I cried when the wrong Savage hit the field
I feel like the most common Ursaring set is quick feet not guts
Me too I use it a lot I just put on a toxic or flame orb on it then on my first turn I swords dance then get my quick feet boost and then proceed to sweep or do lots of damage
I was really hopping to see shadys face when a quick feet ursaring pulled the win, luckly it did not happen.
I wanted to see Shady's reaction if that Ursaring was possibly quick feet.
I said the same thing about Nappy's battle - it wasn't pretty, but it counts. Only three games left!
