Oh yes the Moterm veg tan patinas in all the colors. The speed depends on the hide, your natural oils in your hands, how often you touch it and how much it gets exposed to light (natural and artificial).
It’s the back plate size generally that causes the rounding in most brands. But yea the rings too. On a Krause ring planner you can pair a bigger back plate with smaller rings. So you get the feel of the back without the chunky rings 💗
That makes total sense! I decided to leave the 30mm rings and I am enjoying the extra space.

Thanks. I was curious about the differences. It’s more subtle than I thought it would be. I have a Filofax Holborn- so no back pocket and I love that it’s so slim. I am so interested in a moterm, but worry that it’ll be a lot bulkier.
Yes! The back pocket adds a lot of bulk. I am actually going to be purchasing a new one from Sojurner soon because her's don't have a back pocket and she uses a string closer. The extra weight and bulk have been bothersome lately, so I want to see if I enjoy a slimmer planner more. Especially if I decide to start carrying it with me more often.
I’m ultimately planning to order a custom VDS undyed ring planner. That way I can get the exact dimensions I need/want and I can get the pen loop widened like I do on my other VDS and just build my perfect ring planner. But I’m waiting until I’m set on exactly what I want and need so I only do it once. 😂
I love my VDS undyed and I hope I can find a reason to use it again. Can't wait to see when you finally get your!

Need to check out your instagram a bit more again because i know i really like it, but haven’t been able to be on there as much lately. Are you still using the tracker for the Apple rings? (i think you tracked that too, as well as I’m doing? or did you choose to track something else? 😅🙈)
I started to keep my fitness trackers in my Weeks Common Planner. Everything that's in my ring planner will be thrown out after it's time has passed, and I want to be sure to keep my trackers. I'm not sure why my brain says "bound planners keep, ring inserts toss out". Lol!
Being you have experienced more expensive covers, do you feel these are a better deal?

Those elastic pen loops make me nuts.
I find myself liking the inexpensive covers more. I swap them out often, so it gives me the ability to have more options. They are very well made, but I don't really take them out of the house and they don't get too much wear and tear. So I can't speak to quality in the long run. 🤗

TFS, I really don't think the 25mm rings made a significant enough difference. I like to 30mm better, just my preference.
