But I can say that they are both wolf-like in appearance, they’re fierce, they transform at night, they kill whoever they choose, they howl at the moon and they are snarly. Whoever cursed them was a work from witchcraft. And that is blasphemous. A werewolf can be killed only by anything silver and sharp. Anyway, I like the inspirational names for both the Lycan and the Werewolf to say the least.
If anyone is wondering who the other werewolf is in the video, the werewolf that fights lycan is based on a guy named David who has a scar on his chest from a previous werewolf attack he had with his friend Jack and Jack ended up killed by another guy transformed as a Werewolf then David goes back for his friend Jack gets attacked too but people from a village they visited previously came to recuse them armed unfortunately David’s friend Jack died, David still alive passes out and gets send to a hospital in London etc. the movie Is called “An American Werewolf in London”

But it depends on the story and what the writer decides. It’s nice to know you are confident in what you researched but to doubt anyone has done the amount of research you have done is a bit of a stretch. Lycans and werewolves are not the same entirely. There are primordials werewolves, there is a type of lycan called the vult kin which are evil by nature. Originally the word lycan came from the Greek word lycanthropy which meant state of nervous disorder. Werewolf in the medical world meant Porphyria is a rare hereditary blood disease. Or possessed by an evil spirit.
