I just ordered a Synth. I'm going to try to pair it with my Circuit Tracks or Maschine Plus. I don't necessarily need it to fully MIDI control it, because all I'm really trying to do is add synth tracks to my other devices, or (depending on how you look at it) drums and other synths to the Polyend Synth. I'm mostly interested in performing live.
It seems to have become a standard release strategy for many companies now, where they release beta software to the public, and then resolve the issues over time. I really hate it. Maschine+ was a buggy nightmare when it was released. It's very stable for me now. Push 3 standalone was practically unusable on release (I got mine on the same week it was launched). Ableton have sorted the major issues now, and it works exceptionally well in my experience. The Polyend Play was supposedly quite buggy on release also (I don't have one myself though), and as I understand, most, if not all major bugs are resolved. I'm sure Polyend will have all the Synth bugs ironed out eventually, but it sucks that these companies treat their paying customers like beta testers. Great video - The Deluge is a total wonder machine!

Although I'm often a bit too impatient, and as soon as a exiting new groovebox comes out, I buy it right away. Maybe I should wait until the worst issues are resolved to avoid the frustration. Regarding Push 3 SA I have been extremely unlucky. I’ve got three replacement units because of hardware issues with knobs and the jog wheel. And for the last month I’ve had a unit that worked very well. Until a couple of days ago where it refuses to start :( It seems completely dead. I have to contact support again.
@@theperfectworkflow I too probably buy grooveboxes too soon, and become an involuntary beta tester 😭 oh man, that's unfortunate about your Push 3. I did have an issue where I didn't touch my P3 for about 2 weeks, and the battery completely drained. I plugged in the power, and it refused to charge or power on. In desperation I tried connecting it with a USB C power adaptor instead (I used my MacBook Pro adapter), and it magically started charging again! Once charged, it worked fully and could power on, and the normal power adapter was working again too - very strange experience and I haven't had it happen again since. Not sure if you've got the same issue, but maybe try to charge via USB C if you can... Might be worth a shot if you haven't already tried!
Omg this sounds exactly like what happened to me! I was on vacation for three weeks and when I got back home and tried to power on the p3, nothing happened. I thought that the battery might have been drained so I had the power adapter connected for several hours and tried again but no luck. I just tried my MacBook Pro (67w) adapter and connected it to the usb-c port (where you normally connect it to computer) But it did not start. Did it start to charge immediately when you connected it to the mbp adapter?
awesome! really curious if arps midi can be saved to digitakt i too get hanging notes when i control it with diitakt. i always need to restart the synth
Have you tried the new firmware for Synth? I just tried it combined with digitaktII and it works a lot better with syncing. And I managed to record arps in to DTII from Synth :)

Please do a Deluge + Octatrack. Convince me to get the OT. I love my Deluge but I feel like I need more knobs and buttons. The mangle feature is my primary interest, so if there’s a cheaper mangle for your buck, that’s also what I’m seeking. Thanks. Great videos. Keep it coming.

I'm gonna upload a new video where I show the midi settings on the Synth. With the new firmware you can set clock in from MIDI. I think that's the only setting that I changed.

What are you midi settings on the Polyend synth? I can’t get mine working like that.
