    We could stop this in one season. Walk towards the fight and have to ride the bench for 2 minutes of play; close your fist and get ejected for the rest of the game and enough game minutes in the next game to complete a game; hit someone and be arrested for Assault right there on the court. And if your team is left playing 3 against 5, so be it! But the leaders lack the will to do it.

    When you go to college, you should aspire to become a better human being. Unfortunately, college athletics is all about winning, and many fans don't seem to care. For too man fans, it's all about winning and a title, and then they gloat as if they had some role in it.
    Some coaches instill sportsmanship, but it's difficult to tell someone to show self-restraint if that hasn't ever been a part of their life.

    Some of you must be new to basketball. Obviously fighting isn’t good regardless however, these players are passionate about the game and they’re just as passionate as the men. Even male basketball players have moments like this, and get super passionate after certain plays and that passion sometimes becomes physical. Y’all are acting like fights during games is this brand new thing that just started happening….things like this have always happened, we’re just seeing it way more now because social media exists, and everything gets posted online….back then, the only way to see a fight happen during a game or just about anything similar was to watch it on tv or to actually be there in person. If some of you are truly so bothered by seeing players fighting, that’s okay…..then don’t watch these games at all, because unfortunately you’re gonna see trash talk, taunting, and sometimes a small fight…that’s just how it goes.

    • @markp.7165
      @markp.7165 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think anyone has a problem with them being passionate but when you have to be held back from fighting and the game is held up by it there has to be penalties assessed. It is about standards and expectations. Yours may be lower than mine but we both want the same result. Good clean basketball.

    • @cnatview
      @cnatview 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's okay to be passionate about the game. But sportsmanship is the number one rule in sports and that means you keep your passion in check.

    As officials, if you can't manage players in your PCA (primary coverage area), then what exactly are you doing? This wouldn't be the first time in the game for something like this to occur, so as soon as you have two players bumping, pushing, and staring at each other, then do your job before it gets to the next level. Unfortunately, in women's collegiate basketball, there are way too many inexperienced officials who seem unable to handle a game or situation like this.

    People don’t realize but women do more trash talking on the court than men and that exacerbate the situation and women get on twitter before the game more than men talking trash about their opponent so by game time players are hyped. Trash talking is never major in men’s games because a real baller don’t listen to clowns on the court he just balls out.
