THF is one of the best on this channel. Impressive win by MT. Absolutely ready for college, gonna be amazing to see what an NCAA coach will do for his game in a year or two.
It seems to me like THF had a very off day. I've never seen him miss so much and lots of doubles. That said, MT took care of business and looks like a college ready player! I'd like to see a rematch sometime.
@@hsy2448 possible, but still lots of double faults. Maybe THF felt he had to go big on second serve. But as someone else mentioned in comments THF is one of best players on this channel and he always seems to play big under pressure so I'm not sure what happened today.
Awesome match. THF plays so smart 14:15 and his single handed backhand looks cool 15:55. His double handed forehand (hit from his left side) is his weaker shot but he does a great job running around it and hitting his backhand weapon instead. Coming to the net wasn't a good tactic for THF, he only won 3/14 points
Great defensive point by MT at 14:46. HF needs to improve that net game and stop donating points, especially in streaks of 3 or 4 in a row. CONSISTENCY! (I have this opinion after watching his last few matches). MT is a smooth, skilled player, with a good combination of offense, defense and consistency....also very quick around the court. He'll do very well in college...no big holes in his game....great overheads, too.
Nah. I love MEP, but this is next-level. Just a great job by MT at destroying everything that sits up in the middle of the court, while his own shots are almost never straight back at the opponent. If he ever develops a big serve, he's got the potential to be an absolute beast.
Yes he's ready for D3 but in all honesty- I think that he would get crushed a D1. 2hf's game was off today- never seen him make that many errors before.
@@RamsBereit I mean that u13 kid beat MEP too, high level juniors should be able grind with a high level pace, given the amount of practice they have over adults. But you could be right, unless we see a match between them👀
Thank you UD Racing for the stats! www.tennisbull.com/match/2534

Probably the pressure of MT made him miss more?

@@markh2044 He's had some other matches like this, where he made way too many unforced errors
I think these two have similar game styles but MT was more polished with his execution.
yeah, after winning the first couple of points he lost the next 11 points in a row. Maybe he didn't warm up enough?
The depth of MT ground strokes made the difference in this match in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.
Good match. MT’s got a nice game.
3:55 surprised me - nice shot selection.
Very smart shot selection. I think any college player/ junior player I know would try to pound it past them.
Interesting video! Thanks for including the score as well!

Nice match lads, MT looks ready to rumble.

He’s ready for top d3 maybe low d1. That is around his utr range unless he can get it into the 10s
MT has such nice accuracy! adding pace will make them lethal
He has to face MEP before even being considered.

MEP got beat pretty bad by many 8 utrs, in theory, MT should beat MEP pretty easily.
Damn some of those passers were nasty
This is Two-handed forehand. Yeah, he got me good
MT is almost pure athleticism and will.

Clean forehand
He’s good! How old?
Has MT passed MEP test to be considered to play college tennis?
9 utr should theoretically crush MEP, for instance, Scott who won like 6-0 6-1 against MEP is a low 8, but you have a great point!
@@hsy2448 Scott has a wise head..unfortunately MT might go into shell and succumb to MEP's strategy

@@hsy2448 My money would be on MT, his game looks very solid, but you never know.
Forehand, serve and speed need to go up a notch for college tennis. Nonetheless he has some great plays executes well!
MT looks like he could play D3 for sure. Especially with a bit of work on that serve...
Give me some more MEP videos, or I will gar crazy :)
These guys hit the ball hard and flat.
MT nickname should be Baby Fritz
Junior Tennis has really gone down the toilet, Neither has a reasonable serve
