Nagas were all headhunters and land occupiers if you don't know. Districts came only after statehood. And FYI Kiyevi was there long before the statehood.
Its because people are jealous that they dnt have as much land as sumis. Kiyevi is just a small village in Peren dist which was estb in 1939 much before Peren dist was estb. And this issue is abt kiyevi and lamhai namdi not encompassing whole of sumis. So its about a tiny village defending its land and rights against the much dominated other tribe.

The problem isn't the land that's gifted. The kiyivi village is settled and recognised, it's their land now. The problem starts when they started claiming more land in the neighborhood, creating 6-7 unrecognised villages and started saying their area is under chumu district.

Its because people are jealous that they dnt have as much land as sumis. Kiyevi is just a small village in Peren dist which was estb in 1939 much before Peren dist was estb. And this issue is abt kiyevi and lamhai namdi not encompassing whole of sumis. So its about a tiny village defending its land and rights against the much dominated other tribe.

Wat were our zeliang people doin all these years after 8-9 decades claiming its their property. How is it logical or justified for one village to leave after so many years of existence? They are not animals or things to be shifted like some people are thinking, we all are humans so think nicely. Many hatred towards sumis not only from zeliang brothers but many others also.. and even some foolish sumis replying those fools.. some people are just writting rubbish like they are waiting to witness war n enjoy, but in reality we will all suffer and be equally responsible for the consequences. District was created based on administrative convenience, not tribal wise.
Also, for your knowledge, Kiyevi village was established in 1939 even before the existence of our state Nagaland, and the Tribe name called Zeliang ( they were called Kacha Nagas.
Lamhai village is creating a buffer zone by selling their land off to other Naga tribes, and hence trying it to make Sümi vs other Naga tribes, which in reality is just between Kiyevi and Lamhai issue.
There are stereotype people @mong our nagas often calling semas are everywhere..Yes it's true semas are everywhere legally and not forcefully occupied.
