It appears that you are focusing on the maximum peak decibel level, but the avata decibel level throughout the flight was actually louder. For most of the entire flight, the decibel level hovered around 70. What do you think?
Could be a pitch issue that makes it seem louder? I may try this again with a slightly different setup...and obviously this is far from scientific, so who knows.
The Avata is easily the noisiest drone I've seen. Not necessarily in raw dB, but it's high pitch makes it especially piercing and unpleasant. I love it, but it's loud. Great video.

I think you should use a proper DBmeter, app in smartphones tends to show different results, not just DBmeter but for example compass, tuner, etc.
It's strange because in the clip the avata sounds louder than the others but it measures less dB
