Good general guide line for medals but for everyone thats interested: there are exceptions to the build. For example klaw, he doesnt need hp that much (2 hp bars) he benefits more from having an atk/def build (healing from skills based on the damage dealt -> atk; def buff -> def). Also each class has a medal set called "universal set" (uni attacker/runner/defender) whish works on any unit of the class its build for (some units just have better medal sets for them). Uni attacker: Bounceman + lawffy + blue ex luffy/dress zorro/lucy; uni runner: dress law + red runner doffy + lawffy/bounceman/lucy/hakuba; uni defender: fujitora + corazon + buffalo/event sugar/blue sabo/garp. For crit based units its either the CP9 set or event oni zorro + bf killer + tc kid medal.
The best beginner set is paramount war luffy medal + 30 mil berry luffy medal (battle axe) since they have a good trait roll (you can get all 3 relevant medal traits from them atk/hp and def).

For the only the level of your character can increase your stats. The reason you thought it wasn’t is because it was adding to the base stats not the plus cause that’s only from the metal.

Hp is better overall than defence and this is because most of times enemies use skills with defence reduction.Also some character hp skills give you 150% of your hp protection.This is how you can beat King pirate Luffy with Young doffy for example.So it is better to use and maximize your hp.If you want defence,you will see many skills that avoid defences.

You said runner needs HP Atk but it's not working for my K-Law so should I try defense on him.
And can you tell me which medals I should run on him plz ?
For klaw he gets his defence buff. So, his defence is more for a runner. You should run defence and attack 70 if attacking. If not then hp and defence to make him more tanky. Medal set kaido is great for him if don't have then dresrosa law doffy and bounceman for capture speed

If you want more tankyness. Put 70 defence and 70 hp
Keep him as it is.HP is always better not because enemies defence ignoring skills but because some of your skills (shields) protect you up to 150% of Your total hp.So yes in 80% of situations hp is always number 1

You can use any colour, unless it's a white. They give same percentage. Try to put characters that are max above boost 2 or characters with good tags like zoan or alike

Fragile means easily defeatable, or one shoted.
And for bluffy max attack and hp should be great

Nope, even if the wordings are different, as long as they are the percentage trait, only 70% will be added

If i raise the attack to 70% and also use an 160 attack medal, what'll it do?will that be used or?
It will. You can use only 2 160 attack after 70%, max to max
Def, atk, hp go up to 70%. Any more% after that will be ignored and add nth. So you can add raw stats of up to 1200 hp and 300 for def and atk. Any more after that will also be ignored.
So the medal effect is active full battel???
