I know its kinda late but when I was watching you place new sockets for the drls, you don't have to do that. Those fog lights are great! Ill be getting a pair. They will be nice at the track. I will be able to drop the headlights down at night. Cheep gmpp ported heads will get you over 14 rwhp throughout the rpm band. Short travel lifters are good for some power and rpm as well. 389/340

Check the other side on the the coolant overflow reservoir that the battery sits on. There should be a tab that would cover the lip of the battery on that side similar to the "wedge" but part of the reservoir. Mine had broken off. A replacement reservoir would be needed to fix it, if that is what happened.
@@Greenlightfilming I got a replacement off of eBay ($40 - $60 or so). Your solution is probably better in the long run since it is secure without that lip. The reason your light sockets were burned is because the turns are also DRL and are incandescent bulb, they get hot. They also burn and crack the light housings because of the angle the are bulbs are installed and that lets water in. Get a digital blinker unit and switch to LED's. with new housings
