I am flying to asia next month and picked Austrian because your video shows a separate cabin with wall between premium and eco. But other videos of Austrian premium eco show a big cabin with zero separation. Wondering what is the latest layout
"The mashed potatoes could have done with a touch more salt," as we observe an unopened salt packet on your tray, presumably to season your food to your own liking...?
I am traveling soon and came across your video. I would like to know about the toilet section on the plane. Does Premium Eco have its own toilet section, or do you use them with business-class or eco-class?
@@TheAircraftKing thanks, even as a licensed pilot I don’t like extended periods of turbulence. My wife and I are headed to Vienna from Chicago tomorrow and will be taking Austrian premium economy. Hoping for a good trip. Thanks again for your reply.
In economy you starve. The meals are good but tiny. However I paid for a Deluxe meal which was worth it. The second meal was half a sandwich and a mousse.
@@TheAircraftKing dude rewatch your own videoe.. here's barely a thing that you're not complaining about airport bad airline bad seat bad food bad entertainment bad yet austrian is one of the best and most punctual carriers there is..
@@m3redgtI’m not exactly sure what video you were watching. Didn’t have a single complaint about the airport. Please let me know where I actually had a legitimate complaint about the airport. I talked about the punctuality of the flight as a joke, and I’m certain this was a one off. I even made it clear that Austrian communicated the delay well in advance which was nice to know. My comments about the seat were objective and fair. Saying a seat is hard isn’t complaining, this is a flight review. There’s good things to say and bad things to say. And those bad things to say does not mean it’s a complaint. As for the food, I quite literally prefaced with “the catering provider is DO CO so I already know without looking at the menu that this is going to be a great meal” or something of the sort. I had mostly good things to say about the food. If I said anything negative, this goes back to the above point that there’s good and bad things to say, and the bad things does not make it a “complaint” the way you are saying it is. The entertainment I also did not say a single negative thing about it. I said how it was very responsive and how there was, and I quote, “a decent selection…I went straight to the James Bond section…etc etc”. I don’t see any other comments sharing your perspective, so might want to take a second look and come back with evidence to back up what you are saying, like I did, before saying stuff that simply isn’t true. Thank you for your comment.
@@TheAircraftKing Interesting how once you "rewatch your own video" as he put it, and put out this wall of proof, he no longer replies. Typical behaviour of the Austrian-Hungarian reminiscing about their former empire that has now fallen to become an afterthought of the German diaspora. 9:05 It looks like you had a Wiener Schnitzel - one of my favorites! Great video - thanks!
Good review. Food did look delicious. 😊
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed and it was definitely solid good start to end

Was it the same aircraft or was it a different aircraft for the other reviews you saw?

Can you access the business class lounge with the premium economy ticket?
Unfortunately no, the only way you can access any lounge with a premium economy ticket is with star alliance gold status
Should have mentioned that in the video..

You use the same toilets as economy. Business class is separated in terms of common facilities from the rest of the plane
How was the ride? Mostly smooth?
Mostly smooth, few bumps over the Rockies but pretty smooth ride across the board

@@spitfirekid1 I wish you a safe and pleasant flight, and with any long flight, I can’t guarantee no turbulence, but let’s see
Since your seat was in the last row, how was the recline?
There was actually quite a bit of space between the last row and the wall behind so you had enough space to recline fully without any obstruction

Yeah for a flight of this length definitely not ideal. Hopefully the food is at least decently good 😅
Thanks for the review! Do&Co is actually pronounced Do & Co instead of D.O. C.O. 😉
Oops thank you for the correction 😅
