Your personality should be authentically 'you', that way you wont have to "maintain" it...you'll just be yourself✨. Even if you develop an alter-ego (alternative personality to cope with high pressure environments) always stick to what's realistic and closest to your real personality.

In the beginning I was just throwing myself at every opportunity that can get me to where I want to be, this included mostly auditions, watching presenters at the SABC through the window (like looking like a creep lol), doing demos (which sound so shitty when I listen to them now) but along the way you’ll find yourself, what you most good at, your style, your personality etc...then you’ll have a better idea of where to go, who to talk to and the kind of presenter you want to be. You just have to start somewhere and grow.
I mean it's great to be remembered but you don't want to be remembered for being that annoying stalker. I think it's dangerous to advise people to do that.
