Is "INVITATION" by Bill Myers, Frank Peretti, Angela Hunt, & Alton Gansky Worth Reading?

One book. Four authors. Bill Myers. Frank Peretti. Angela Hunt. Alton Gansky. A high concept that could be a TV series along the lines of HEROES or X-MEN. It's a Christian science fiction/fantasy high concept with high-profile Christian writers.
But . . . is it worth reading?

Ooh. The Harbingers. I remember this. I read the first few when they were self-published as novellas and really enjoyed them. I believe they later disappeared as they wre purusing a traditional publisher, so I wasn't able to continue. (I subsequently forgot all about them). I must get back into these.
