I think the reason this song is so emotional is because touched so many people's lives.
You know what even more saddening. Throughout the music video, they reminds us how good Fast and the furious 1,2,4,5,6 and 7. Back when Fast and the furious had heart, even though it has ridiculous action, but there are moments in there that was pretty good.
Now the franchise is "a shell of its former self" with new entries such as F8 & F9, just mindless action, no heart, no soul. It's like watching Micheal Bay's transformer, just action no heart.

This song touched me so hard. I remeber when it came out it was already very sad. Then my uncle passed and this song came on in the care ride after the funeral. It made it that much more emotional for me.

Damn. It's still hard to believe he's gone. The franchise will never be the same without him. I remember when I heard about his passing, I was only 12-13 at the time. I just remember balling my eyes out. He was one of my all time fav characters in the franchise. May his soul rest in peace 😔🙏

i understand how hard it is to lose someone whether it’s family or friends trust me i’ve been there and it’s not a comfortable position to be in. just this past year i lost one of my best friends to suicide in a car accident who took his own life. it hasn’t been easy for me to live life without him but you know what even though it’s tough you gotta break down the walls and barriers that stand in your way and prove to everyone that you’ve got something to live for and fight for.

I remember the first time I saw it in theaters, it was full and people were actually silent for the first time in a movie. When the beach scene came and after all you could hear was everyone crying. No one got up to leave for a good few minutes, it was just sniffles. When they did no one spoke, as everyone walked out there were no words spoken. Walking down the hall still no one spoke. I had never seen someone be loved by so many have that big of an effect on everyone. It spoke volumes about how great Paul was. He was never just Brian, he was always so much more.

The images of the song with old movie clips is what gets me it reminds me of the early 2000's when I watched the 1st movie and every clip just is a reminder of good days that will never be here again. I didn't cry but this song does make me feel a little sad Paul was a great actor and a great person by other people's accounts.
