  • Swami Kriyananda reads and comments on his book "Conversations with Yogananda." TV series "A Way to Awakening" recorded in India.
Swami Kriyananda sings Oh, God Beautiful that Paramhansa Yogananda chanted with an enthralled audience of over 3000 people at Carnegie Hall in 1926. Kriyananda shares from Conversations with Yogananda and relates a couple of stunning incidents involving Yogananda that dramatically changed people lives. Kriyananda encourages us to remember the nature of our true selves - a nature beyond the physical form and astral realms that encompass the divine in us all. We may follow different paths Kriyananda says but that he is only interested in converting people to their higher selves to stir their love for God and the pursuit of that higher self.
    ABOUT SWAMI KRIYANANDA
In 1948 at the age of twenty-two, Swami Kriyananda (J. Donald Walters) became a disciple of the Indian yoga master, Paramhansa Yogananda. Yogananda is best known for his spiritual classic, *Autobiography of a Yogi*.
In his book he recalls his experiences growing up in India and his life in America. He writes of meeting the great spiritual master Babaji, and how Babaji reintroduced the life changing meditation technique of Kriya Yoga. He tells of his life with his guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, of his guru Lahiri Mahasaya, and his meeting with Anandamayi Ma.
Yogananda moved to America and developed the energization exercises and taught the meditation techniques of Hatha Yoga and especially Kriya Yoga. #kriyananda #yogananda #ananda

    Very Nice Sir,
Hari is A Proper Name of the Common Name God !
In One Reference, the Translation may be Understood as Correct ! But in Absolutely Relative Reference, Translation of Hari has to be Hari. Hari Bol.

I didn't know Daya Mata could sing so well! Ha! Just kidding...
Thank you! Another sweet video. The first part is especially touching. It was so moving to watch Swamiji, his eyes welling with tears of bliss as he was singing "Oh God Beautiful". Hardly able to finish the song because he was feeling it so deeply. You can feel the overwhelming joy bursting from Swamiji's heart, he's barely able to contain it. It made my own heart ache a little with sweet longing for the Lord. It's hard to imaginne the amount of composure it took for Swamiji to be able to speak at all, as God's love was sweeping his soul....
Thank you for this inspiring video!
    Jai Swamiji! Jai Guru!
