Hey Wally, always enjoy your videos. They show that on its day the RIP is a force to be reckoned with. Have fished it a lot years ago when lead lining was the way to catch kingys.👍🎣
Nice one Wally. I've yet to see a passenger on deck catching the breeze as their cruise ship powers through the heads. Perhaps there all having dinner, as was the case when me and my wife & kids aboard the RHMS Britanis entered the heads around 5:00 pm on 25/06/1973.
"A windy night in Bass Strait for the passengers", you say, Daff. Yeah, but the vast majority of 'em, on that boat, are pretty tough, mate. Just like us, mostly they're baby boomers - tough as nails. 😅
👍👍👍 keep up the good work mate

Those wind against tide (semi-)standing waves look 'uncomfortable' for small vessels.
Thanks for sharing, and happy new year.
Very much enjoy your videos, but wonder whether it would be possible to indicate the date on which each one is made?
Hats off to those pilots! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice one Daff, and Seasons Greetings.
Seasons Greetings to you too!
Greetings friends from Australia, Happy New Year's Eve, from Chile, your friend
Thanks for watching! Happy New Year to you too!

I can imagine it would be a bit too breezy for passengers on deck!

Sorry forgot to say you can’t take it away from the PILOTS.
Daff, great video. Pilot would need clean pants after that experience 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the thumbs up, appreciate you watching!
12:15.
Trying to manoeuvre a pilot boat next to a liner in swell like that is utterly dangerous.
Surely there has to be a better way to do this....
The sea can be a dangerous place to work in. It has, since time began.
