This song is deeply layered with meaning.. and most definitely Hirasawa created it on the basis of his experiences with the transgender community in Thailand. The lyrics, not just in this song but in the songs throughout this album describe a location in an alleyway in Thailand as a place in which one can live as one chooses, in perhaps another person's life from the past, maybe someone who never even existed. Further, it seems, that they are 'beckoning' one to do so. To break away from reality, and escape to this 'SIM CITY' .. well secluded in one's own reality.
I dont know how to say, how can i call it?? cest comme nostalsia mais cest pas pareille...
I like to think there's an alternative universe where Satoshi Kon directed an anime adaptation of Hirasawa's science fiction concept album Sim City. It's a great album.
I showed this to my math teacher, because he taught in Thailand for a few years and I thought he might of liked it. I think he's a fan of Susumu Hirasawa now.

I don't even have the words to describe how I feel about his work. The more I discover this man's music the more enthralled I became.

Sim City 2

the more you listen to this, the more it grows on you
