This is not what he meant. In the speech he referred to the fact that many conservative Christians in America don’t vote because they don’t like to take part in the political process due to the corruption and sinful state of politics.
Trump was saying to them “I know you don’t like voting but please vote for me this time. I can put right all these things that are wrong.”
By having things fixed, he did not mean ending democracy but sorting out problems to the point where the Republicans would become popular with the wider public; and therefore these Christians would not need to vote again because the Republicans would be assured of winning, having achieved so much.

One minor, but significant error here is the statement that the Democratic governor of Arizona would be able to appoint a Democrat to finish out Mark Kelly's term. Actually, the governor would be able to appoint a Democrat, but that person would have to stand for election in 2026 to finish out the last two years of Kelly's term, and then again in 2028 for a new six year term. Given that 2026 will be a mid-term election, and given that the party in the White House generally does poorly in mid-term elections, this would put the senate seat at risk two years earlier than otherwise, and in an election that would be somewhat less favorable to the Democrats if Harris wins in November. While winning the White House is clearly the most important job, and the Democrats should do whatever is needed to ensure that win, if it could be done with someone like the governors of Pennsylvania or North Carolina, that might be better. Senate seats are particularly important, as approval of the Senate is needed for confirmation of judges, Supreme Court justices, cabinet officials, generals and admirals, and hundreds of senior civilian government officials. Losing even one seat in the Senate in 2026 might be a big blow in the final two years of a Harris first term as president.
