I'm not familiar with Risk of Rain 2. What's so bad about being on Stage 2 at 20 minutes?
@@clyax113 Well theres always different ways to play any games but idealy you'd want to spend max 5 minutes per stage for the first 3 stages or so

@@clyax113 they're not necessarily easier, but after a while you get more items and start to get stronger quicker, I'd say if played on monsoon you should only get 2 items per player and not spend more than 5 minutes per stage for the first couple of stages
@@alial-taai5533 5 minute rule is bullshit. collect every item and do it as fast as you can is the correct way to play this game.
6:20 If you watch closely, you can actually see him getting hit right befoere Mithrix's attack by one of the Golems. Cause of that the 1-shot protection didn't trigger. Though if this makes things better, if that wouldn't have happened, Mithrix with 4 Medkits, and a N'kuhana's Opinion would have been a deathwish aswell.

Dont generalize, roguelikes are much more varied than the rng fest that is Risk of Rain 2, if you want a good one pretty skill based i recommend you Synthetik
@@snowballtacoburrito8758 nha bro, the RNG isnt the problem, is the feeling of going back all the way to starter gear once you die that annoys me, 'tis the reason why roguelikes are usually 1-2h long, but still, I personally dont like it ._.
@@snowballtacoburrito8758 Risk of Rain is the least RNG dependent rogue-like (behind Enter the Gungeon) I’ve ever played, tf are you talking about. I can consistently beat the game on Monsoon without much difficulty because of my knowledge of the game and my 500+ hours (and most people can like Woolie for example)
@@thatonelad9416 I mean, there's literally an interactable called "Shrine of Chance", so I don't get where you found your "least RNG dependent rogue-like" claim from. Literally every item is random, every enemy is random and stages are random. The only thing that is always consistent is the Mithrix bossfight and even then, with the right items (highly dependant on chance and luck), it's a cake walk.
@@emmaleyna There may be decent chunks of RNG, but as someone with 500+ hours, I can confirm getting consistent runs depends on skill and game knowledge and not what items you get. I’d say it really only affects the first one or two stages if you can’t get a good source of healing
