Thank-you for this excellent video. It brought back wonderful memories. Connecting the floating hoses to the tanker manifold was my job, back from 1971 until '74, when I was team leader of our 3-man diver/ hose connection crew on the first Exposed Location SBM in the world, near Durban, South Africa. They do it today the same way we developed 50 years ago. At last I will be able to show my 51 year old daughter what it was Daddy did that made him go to sea all the time, Thanks for the memories👍🤿🐜
Thanks for very important operations.. Actually sir today I'm going to join the vlcc vessel desh ujaala as a tnoc . So thank you very much for everything.. I'm watching all of your videos all are very useful for me so thanks once again and keep it up sir. Jai hind
Greetings, Captain. this video let me to your site, which I have browsed, & what a delight. You have perfectly captured what life is like on a tanker. I am Dive Superintendent & Senior Instructor in Offshore Diving at Seadog Commercial Diving School in Saldanha, South Africa. I will use this video to show my students how the SBM works, how I did it in the old days, & what will be expected of them in hose connecting, I will direct them to your site to show them what life at sea can be like. Divers go to sea on tankers, drill rigs, small boats, pipelay barges , lift barges, salvage tugs... you name it. Your site shows the nice side very nicely. Thanks for the memories, 🤿🐜
Thank you for a very good and clear picture how to unload oil from tanker. May I ask your view about another unload facility like the fix tower compare to the SBM?
Thanks for giving a knowledge. Well I am working on a barge I never be seen like this, and now gonna know about SPM/SBM but end time I didn’t get why tugboat taking as astern
Very interesting explanation. Sometimes I unload the Hydroxide de sodium on some vessels. And for me is a really big pleasure to come in such vessels as a tank driver. Regards from Rotterdam !!!
As usual Captain veere there is so much to learn from each n every videos of your...always excited to watch n learn so many things. #GreatGoing #Bestwishes #Jaihind👍😇🙏🙏
Daily blogs take lot of time shoooting and editing , u need Internet also for uploading , on ship it’s not possible to give so much time to you tube , Internet for uploading is available only at ports. Cheers
Anchors are only forward , we need something to pull ship away from buoy , FYI Anchors are kept lashed at SPM as we have pipeline on seabed , so they r not allowed to be used at SPM . Cheers
Hello sir first of all I would like to thank you for making such fantastic video's regarding merchant navy. Sir I am a newbie to this field and soon I'll be joining a LNG tanker at the end of this month. So my question is how are LNG ships operating. I'll be joining as a junior engineer. What is the market condition of LNG and do LNG ships which are newly built have 4th engineers or not? Because many ships basically from oil side and some small LPG vessels does not have 4th engineers. Why is that so?
Are you serioues ???You walking in a tanker's deck with a camera ?????? And i am quite sure that ths was a mobile phone!!!! Your Captain/Company should be ' very happy to have you on board. ,.............................
@@abhishekpanday8426 bro if u r from commerce then u can go for gp rating or Saloon rating but their no scope for these courses in officers as their is less chance of becoming officer from crew or rating side . u can give PCM exam from open schooling or international board from recognised board with 65% if u want to join as deck cadet by doing DNS or BSC course after taking sponsorship . n I prefer u should go for DNS or for BSC as their is lot of flooding in this field n competition , these students who r from dns n bsc are also struggling for job at officer level so after doing gp rating nowadays n becoming officer it's quite difficult . n rest all depends on you what you have to do.
@@KaviKavi-hc8vn 6 months course, fees maximum 4 lakhs in best institutes . now according to dgs rule you have to get first sponsorship from the company n then contact any good instute or college for further procedure. if u live in mumbai \ Maharashtra then I will prefer u to contact anglo Eastern Great Eastern ts rehman tolani n samudra . go checkout their Official website just by typing their names in Google n rest info u will get in their respective website.
As lot of physical work is required and weak knees may get u in trouble . But anyhow better to get yourself checked st any dg approved medical centre before joining bro

Nice video captain cool
Amazing video sir..it give lot of information...l have a doubt sir, instead of using tug on another side, can we use anchor for holding the vessel.

Thanks sir for this great information...jai hind sir.
