- Piazza is one of the major business centers of Addis Ababa, partly built and inhabited by Europeans and Asians in the early 20th century. It has since been a business and administrative center of the Capital City and a tourist attraction. Addis Ababa's certain neighborhoods are currently undergoing significant demolition and reconstruction by the Government, of which Piazza is the major one. I've presented the situation in those areas in my previous videos but my regular viewers asked me to make another video which shows a complete development of the said activity particularly with regard to Piazza. That is what this video is all about.

Addis Ababa, founded in 1886, is the capital city of Ethiopia and the business, financial and cultural center of the Country. It is also the seat of African Union and numerous other international organizations (the 3rd largest diplomatic center in the world, behind New York City and Geneva, with many embassies and missions). It is often called the "African Capital" due to its historical, diplomatic, and political significance for the continent. The City is located in the geographic center of the Country.
Standing 2,355 meters above sea level, it is the third highest capital in the world. This historically significant city in its enchanting mountain setting is recognized as one of the world¹s most fascinating and beautiful cities.
Addis Ababa has an estimated population of about 8 million with an eight percent annual growth rate. Each of the country's multitude of ethnic groups is represented somewhere in the capital, as are many foreign residents from all parts of the world who contribute to the city's cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Amharic, the national language, is widely spoken throughout the country and is predominant in Addis Ababa. The principal foreign language is English, but you will also find many people who speak French, Italian, and Arabic.
Ethiopia is often called the origin of humankind due to various hominid fossil discoveries such as the Australopithecine "Lucy". Recent DNA evidence suggested, After analyzing the DNA of almost 1,000 people around the world, that humans originated and spread from around what is now Addis Ababa 100,000 years ago. The fossilized skeleton, and a plaster replica of the early hominid Lucy (known in Ethiopia as Dinkinesh) is one of the numerous preserved hominid skeletons at the Ethiopian National Museum in Addis Ababa.
Addis Ababa has more than enough history and sites to warrant more than just a stopover.

ጥሩ ቪዲዮ. እና የአዲስ አበባ ማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክት ትልቅ መሻሻል ነው። የከተማ አስተዳደሩ የአንድ መንገድ የመንገድ ስርዓት( one way)ከቀረጹ የትራፊክ መጨናነቅን እና የአየር ብክለትን ይቀንሳል። መንገዶችን ለማስፋት አሁንም ጥቂት የቀሩ ሕንፃዎች መፍረስ አለባቸው ብዬ እገምታለሁ። ለምሳሌ ከኤሌክትሪክ ሕንፃ ፊት ለፊት ያለው የአንበሳ ጫማ ሱቅ. ሁል ጊዜ ያ መንገድ በትራፊክ ፍሰት የታነቀ ነው።
