Glad you like our food scene here.
I've been hearing good things about our new food court in Union Station.
Outside of our Chinatown, Korea/Japtown is worth a visit.
I'm not sure if it's still around, but I use to love this place called Country Style for Hingarian on Bloor between Spadina and Bathurst. Their Schnitzel dinner is huge but last I recalling was $15.
I've been trying to hit up places around Scarborough for cheap eats. Out here, if it's not small businesses its food courts and supermarket hot tables...most are surprisingly good. One I found is Fresh Land in Malvern.
At St Lawrence Market, I prefer the place in the lower level for veal sandwiches.

Hey! Thanks for the insight! I can't wait to explore the other neighbourhoods of Toronto when it warms up a little.
I'm going to be downtown again on Monday. Any recommendations for Ramen?

only place I've been is Ajisen Ramen in Chinatown. I've heard of places on Bloor near UofT that should be cheaper. Pacific Mall ain't bad either. I'm more of a dim sum guy but Toronto Eats I think has a number of good suggestions.

Great video, you have an amazing narrative voice as well!
I head to Toronto as much as I can, I'm actually heading there this weekend, I'm seriously in love with the city and I'm with you 100% when you say you want to move there.
If you get a chance make sure to check out the rest of the area around Santosei Ramen. I can say Yonge St. is my favorite place to explore while walking.

I think every city can have great food. Some of the best food I have ever ate was in Kingston, Ontario. Dong Nai Vietnamese restaurant's sizzling beef and pineapple, and Pat's Cambodian's golden chicken as well as Sima Sushi's spicy crunchy albacore tuna sushi.
