    I laughed out loud at the stink eye you got from the sketcher right after you whispered "hey guys, I'm not supposed to film or record anything at this place." This looks like such an incredibly fun time! Thank you for sharing it with us.

    The culture there seems more friendly and respectful than here in the states.

      Taiwan is a friendly country, more so than Singapore.

      My friend visited japan this year. The culture there is 99% Japanese so it was a bit of a culture shock for him but he enjoyed it. He said the people were shy but respectful yet when he came back to the states the people were much more rude and loud in public. I've never visited another country and never had the money to do so. Hopefully one day i can. I think it would help my drawing due to exploring new places and getting a different perspective on the world. Its a lot of work making all these videos and im glad your out having fun.

    LOL, that "hey guys I'm not supposed to film or record at this place" at 3:00 followed by various sneaky shots and that jokey music.
    And that collage mixed media work at 3:53! O_O so ambitious to do it live for urban sketching. Teoh, do you know who did that comic-panel style water colour work at 4:07?
    Thanks for documenting this year's sketchwalk! Very fun to watch these vlogs.

    Teoh I’m not sure what to get the 45 cotman watercolor set or the 18 set Van Gogh. Which is better for a beginner in watercolor

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      18 colours. Or even 12. Too many colours is going to be overwhelming for beginner. Sometimes you learn more with less

    Very nice Teoh. Enjoyed the music performance at the end too. Thank you! Are using your GH4 with a gimbal to shoot everything?

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm using the Panasonic GH5 for all these handheld shots. It has stabilisation for the lens and sensor so the footage is not that shaky. GH4 handheld footage will be shaky and will need a gimbal (heavier) that's for sure. The GH4 is used at home, on a tripod, for most of my art product reviews and tutorials.
