Big thank you to Capt Bradford, an NSX NA1 has always been the icon for folks who enjoy 90s JDMs. Not many people can find an NA2 RR, but this is definitely not a lesser car. It is not about the power but a complete package. Definitely, a must buy when we have an opportunity to do so. Greetings from Singapore/Malaysia.
@@bones6978 Whatever, in my opinion Supras and Skylines are the most overrrated. Miatas are the proper value for the money you pay. They are very good on what they've been designed to do, being a sports car. On the other hand, paying a 50k for a Supra just because it appeared in Fast and Furious, when you could buy a 300ZX or a GTO instead for quarter of a price, it's just bonkers.

I'm just glad this isnt as overrated as the supra and skyline. I'd rather only the true car guys to know it's worth and appreciate it than it being ruined by fanboy kids because the real ones know the nsx is on a level above the supra and skyline
There's plenty of exotics that I love... but the NS-X will always be my ultimate dream car. I don't care that it's not a 'super' or 'hyper' car. It's perfect to me.
Still looks great, a timeless design, much like the S2000, both could still be on sale today. This era of motor vehicles for me is perfect. Too much tech on modern vehicles for my liking.
A lot of various sports cars over the decades have ended up in the automotive graveyard and scrapped. Yet, all these NSX's from the early to mid 90's are not only still on the road, but are still in very good condition and still drive well. A lot of cars that were built to last are kind of boring and not performance orientated. With the NSX and S2000 you get both, performance AND built to last and be used everyday. It's a huge shame that Honda stopped doing RWD pure sports cars.
Your channel is amazing!! I have been binge watching you for a week now and your attention to detail is unmatched, keeping us anoraks so very much entertained and fulfilled. Keep spreading the love for the JDM legends, captain!
I remember seeing the Acura (Honda) NSX here in the U.S. years ago at a Honda dealership. The dealership had a rope around it and I could not get a good look at it, but from what I saw the car was awesome looking. Very unique looking car for the times and I read that it drives really smooth. And of course a fast car compared to other sports cars from that time. Great review!!
I love this NSX so much and the engine is so good and i know this nsx because the f1 champion legend Aytron senna who drive NSX R at suzuka circuit in 1990s and also senna who own the red nsx as his personal car.
I love the NSX, one of the best looking cars of all time. The Type-R were also very impressive when compared to other cars of the time. EDIT: LOL at 280bhp agreement, more like 300+ for all late90/early 00's.
I remember when he reviewed the FD2r I didn't have one. Now I do😊. Now I'm watching this review on the NSX and I currently don't own one... You get my point😜
Could you guys try to find an NA1 NSX-R for doing a review on It please? It would be nice since there's really no content about It on TH-cam. For me, the NSX is timeless and one of the most real driver oriented machines ever made. The Type R models are the pinnacle of all the NSX variants. And also, Very good video.
I miss the days when cars was made by men that knows how to give a car it's own personality and it shows...this car is a true testimony of 'stand the test of time'
The European exotics weren’t quirky, they were totally unreliable, we Europeans know that, driven Honda’s for 30 years now I’ve moved onto Lexus hybrids and I’ve never had any issues with my cars, Japanese cars are just better, end of story... 🇯🇵
Keen if you can find and review the 1983-1985 Toyota Celica GT-TS homologation TA64 with the 4T-GTE engine. Failing that, the TA63 GT-TR with the 3T-GTE engine.
Great review, love the nsx. Those seats and that steering wheel position will make the cabin feel more snug than it is, much prefer the OEM wheel position personally 👍
I would say that NSX was essentially Japan and Honda’s response to Europe especially Ferrari. And the NSX is also a classic example of late 80s and early 90s cars.
Awesome car! Beautiful in looks and it's complete philisophy. Maybe think about a more accesible, get under-appreciated performance car like the Galant VR4 (8th generation) for a review some day?
Channel had notification problems and video was not searchable. TH-cam fixed it and let us know. We re-uploaded it so that everyone can watch. Sorry if it's your second time coming here.
Thank you for doing such a detailed review on the Japanese car I respect and love the most. I can say that the NC1 being so complicated and heavy and more of a USDM than a JDM doesn't really deserve the legendary NSX badge. The NA1 is just too perfect, 30 years old, and still looks better than any production Ferraris or Lambos
He's at a loss for words, but he means the the car is a perfect ergonomic and dynamic combo coming together to inspire complete trust in the chassis and controls that make you feel like your intuitively wearing the car like an extension of your body. H O N D A
Hey love the video so does anyone else also almost only listen to rock music like Metallica/Delta Parole/Oasis when they drive? Whats you guys favourites?
The original first-gen NA1/NA2 NSX looks so much better than the new ones. The new NSX just doesn't have that sort of original spirit and soul that the NA1/NA2 have from the elegent looks yet simple design for a high end sports car of its time, the pop-up headlight, lighter weight aluminum body, and of course the 6-speed manual transmission which makes you feel more connected to the car.
