Don’t want to start a fight, but this would have sounded much better with Iain, Martin and Jonny. Totally get that Lauren wants to do some solo stuff, and Are You Awake is an unbelievably brilliant example of that. But this here is just Chvrches without the magic. Maybe unfortunately for her, but fortunately for the furtherment of music in general and specifically her career and legacy, anything Lauren does, if she wants an audience, has to be musically as good as Chvrches. That’s in writing, arrangement, production and performance, else it will fail with the public and arguably most of her fans. That’s not trying to put down the “I need to be the strongest woman and do the “Final Girl” thing. It’s about music, musicality, performance, production. And this isn’t it. So I guess it all depends on why she’s doing it. She already validated herself as a prodigious musician. Will she destroy that in the name of trying to exorcise her insecurity and the need to be told that she is a star on her own? A woman in a man’s world (which simply isn’t true in “modern” music). And no-one achieves their best work or their best life, on their own.
Dope!
Wow, shes going to be a fantastic solo act!!!! Love this and her other song too---
No surprises, but, her solo carrier will explode so soon. Charism, talent, voice, it's all there...
And legs...don't forget the legs
Just less than 4 weeks until she plays in Glasgow! I can't wait for this!
Have fun!!
I'm hoping to photograph Lauren in Birmingham!
Different. I think I like it.
What's the name of the song though?
I hope she doesn't abandon her band which would be like an empty church without her.
I can be ok with this New Direction.

She‘s better with churches
Def not up to CHVRCHS standard
She needs to turn right back around!! This is HORRRRRRRRRRRIBLE!
Sorry you feel that way. It was awesome.
I dig it. Can't wait to actually hear a good audio recording of it.
