As a guy who rage quit the game for about two years, after the Axe Raiders broke the game, it’s incredibly refreshing to see units that look cool and fun, but not OP.
I still think are raiders were the worst because of their combination of op ranged attacks and phasing through units. Outriders and shenji were op that season too but they weren't touched because they kept raiders in check. Funny thing was that it was my first 😅.
The truth is that team play is becoming more important this season. You can't play these units individually. Frankly, I was extremely complaining about people who didn't adopt team play in many games. It will be difficult to play these units, on the other hand, they are the units that will show the highest usefulness in a good team. Before the players knew how to play T5 units in the Iskender season, they seemed very weak, but after learning how to play, we realized their true power. I'm sure we will figure out the effectiveness of these units as the season progresses.
Reiters firing in melee makes sense historically since wheel/matchlock firearms were usually fired from point-blank range in order to not only ensure a hit (smooth bore being notoriously inaccurate) but also to ensure maximum armor penetration since the armor of the time could out right stop shots from longer distances.
Cannons would be amazing for defense or offense siege fights. pop these guys down to defend a gate entrance or to stop the enemy from pushing a siege tower. These cannons will be super helpful to allow your team to push through mobs. Especially iron reapers since their armor is still in OP levels. Stealth/longbow players will turn them into free food though.
the aim target is limit but if you aim at the right spot the cannon travel straight till the end of the map.

I have a feeling this is going to be a decent season, Im glad theyve added some units that can help with the current meta. Cav has been super op recently but obviously for good reason too. Do you know why they havent added the old maps back ? I feel like ive been getting the same maps, im a returning player so im not sure if that has something to do with the season
If you new player you kinda get same 5-6 maps over and over again until lvl 200+. That's because you face a lot of times bots etc. After that you get way more maps. With evry season there is always a new map too.

@@DuckyNobu oh ok, my account level is 500. I’ve been playing since the first season on and off… I haven’t gotten any of the maps I used to get recently. I’m ready for the new season though. Thank you !💪🏼
i was gona think the Tier 5 was gona be absolutly Op since they would be 3 canons and 1 singel canon ball wiped out 90% if a phalanx formation and the guns would be insane has a wall
I think its a gud T5 and even if its Ultra OP. The good thing is its range isn't like Falconetti and shoot time is high. You know what that means ? it will take only 5 seconds for hashashin to scoop in, then i hit Decimate (2nd skill) then run out. ez kills
T3 can't charge and survive properly, prolly skill 2 is best to use for hit and run missions, but then again why not go outriders for that purpose? T4 can block only small doorways with that wall of pikes, takes time and anticipation to know when and where to properly place them and the unit itself is really bad(lvl 24, 5.6 k life and literally worse than a T3 musket). T5 shots are very slow and not able to arc over obstacles, which was the whole point in sieging and pairing them with 1 falco unit(which would have been demented). This season is worse than I thought it would be.

Артилерия зайдет для кланов на войне будет неплоха при дефе ворот разносить толпы при заходе картечью в рандомных боях при одиночной игре или игре без связи в рандомной пати ее будут уничтожать очень легко любой мимо пробегающий герой как это почти всегда в случае с лучниками. В целом юниты интерестные в плане механик, но многие не смогут на них давать хоть какие то удовлетворительные результаты.
With doctrines, Cannons might have more rate of fire & in blob fight, this grapeshot cannon can knock down entire group in single volley ( which is HUGE imo) .

axe riders was nothing compared to berserks, maa and wuweis now lol every season has them but ppl learn to work around it actually think a bit

That tier five unit really embodies the 'Glass Cannon' archetype.

Those Tier 5 will really need coordination with your team mates, And i can see them in defence, Cause you will have time to set it up

The T4 need higher dmg, they use high caliber arquebuses which are more powerful than the earlier matchlock.
I though T5 cannon unit gonna use like round shots but turn out it's canister shots seem like this T5 gonna need heavyly guard by team
Guess ill be main str Maul for this season. So I can spin on those ranged units and erase them
they look pretty balanced devs can always tweak things later on

Angles you mean rotating around? You can use the thinkie wheel on the mouse to look further or closer.
