I saw them live in holland 1989 and it was the best gig I have ever had seen, after the show I met the members and I smoked a joint with the drummer and bassist, it was a great experience to see them live, and untill today they remain one of my fav. hardcore-acts, my nickname was Farmer Vincent according to one of their songs
They weren't on the grind crusher album. I was just listening to that. They were on Hardcore Holocaust Vol 2 alongside bands like Intense Degree and The Stupids. That was another legendary compilation that a lot of us owned. It was a bunch of John Peel Seasions
A sister of mine says she don't get why I like Doctor and the Crippens so much and calls them 'generic.' Can anyone tell me in what universe they're 'generic'?
Nothing generic about exploding cabbages! But Doctor and the Crippens certainly weren't generic, granted its not everyone's taste, but I think they were great personally.
@@TheCrippens What was the track that had lyrics along the lines of 'Smashing through paradise / all polite is what I say / I'm feeling so weak today / somebody will take your place...something, something......falling in love awkwardly?

People these days call everything they don't like "generic".
These guys were a bunch of weirdos. Nothing generic about them at all
